Walter

Walter followed the inspector. He double checked the bodies as well as he made his way to the door. "Well if she can't open it, I have one last Grenade..." He says as an idea crossed him. Slowly he moves to the wall to the left of the door and knocks on it lightly, checking to see if the smart mind of Mo remembered to armor the walls as well as the door. Many people overlook how one could just shoot through the wall and bypass the door.

Dr Conni Luo

If she finds no traps she'll apply spritzes of her Corrosive compound to the hinges areas and lock until she judges one good kick will open it. She'll step aside for someone to do the honors.

GM Post:

The door isn't trapped and the Seven have little problem removing the makeshift barrier that Mo's men were trying to construct to keep out the vengeful individuals storming Boss Mo's tower. Conni sprays a corrosive agent onto the sturdier pieces of wood that were nailed on, which quickly dissolve somewhat and fall away uselessly. Shen kicks the double doors directly where they meet, sending each swinging inward into the room.

The contents of the room are unsurprising: Mo stands behind his massive desk with a worried look on his face. His arm has taken a bullet and he is bleeding all over the side of his suit. Leaning up against the near side of the desk is the Yakuza that Eddie knows as Hotei, Lord Takanada's premier assassin. A katana is at his side and a pistol lies next to him on Mo's desk. He's currently looking over some papers, apparently from the collection that Boss Mo got out of Conni's stolen files.

He smiles when he sees Eddie. "So, the dead girl moved your family near Shanghai? I'll be sure to deal with them once I've put you down." He looks at Conni. "... you too."

Between Hotei and the Seven stand two of the three professional killers in Boss Mo's employ, the Russian Genrikh Kuznetsov and the Mexican Felipe Jajuan. Both clearly have a small arsenal on them but the Russian is currently armed with an assault rifle while the Mexican has out an Uzi.

Walter

Walter merely smirked at the others as he held his grenade in one hand, the pin in another. Dirt and ash cover his face which mix with the sweat well. He then looked to Boss Mo and winked, "Seems the only thing that stand between us and Mo is some heavily armed assassins that have seemed to always miss their targets." He says with a light chuckle.

Dr. Conni Luo

Conni is intent on those in the room. The personal threat was laughable. She pulled down the mask portion to show her whole face. Let him gaze upon the mirror of the one he cruelly killed so long ago.

"This <explicative for dog feces> killed my sister, my twin, the brightest spot this world had to offer." She indicates Mo with a contemptuous glance. "So there is nothing you can do to me, Japanese scum." She spits back at the Yakuza assassin. She locks eyes with the Mexican Mercenary, knowing his fatherly predilections toward the fairer sex. "Would you stand in protection of him, knowing he killed a helpless woman in cold blood he had no more use of after forcing her as a shield between himself and the authorities? Would you serve a coward like this, who would so treat the kindest girl you would ever meet? Please, just let us bring him the Justice he earned when he killed a scared young woman in cold blood."

And to persuade Felipe....
Diplomacy (1d20+7=21) hmm... trying an hp reroll
Diplomacy (1d20+7=23) Well, if there's a +2 circumstance bonus that'd be 25 (I hope) :)....

Eddie Murtaugh: The Angel of Death
HP: 8 Status: Brused/Injured

Eddie draws his Katana slowly, letting the sound of metal on metal ring in the room.

"If the only thing between you and them is me..." he says cooly, his sunglasses obsuring the hawklike gaze he'd locked onto the japanese mobster, "Then I pity you."

Shen Sung:
HP: 2

Shen eyes the man that looks like Mo with a scornful gaze. "You are not Mo, leave now before you share that cur's fate." As he speaks the martial artist takes note of some movement by someone that is hiding under the desk the fake Mo is behind.

GM Post:

The man behind Mo's desk is paralyzed with fear and doesn't take the opportunity to run.

Conni's words have devastating effect on the Mexican professional. He looks intently at her and then glances back at the desk, stroking his mustache. Then he relaxes his grip on his Uzi and lets it hang on its strap at his side. Looking over at the Russian, he notes: "Well, amigo, looks like you're on your own for this one..." With that declaration, he folds his arms in front of him and leans up against the wall, casually taking in the unfolding scene as an interested spectator.

The use of Diplomacy will count as Conni's action for the round.

Not waiting for anything else, Hotei moves forward and draws his katana. He cuts Eddie with the blade as it leaves the scabbard in an upward slash.

OOC wrote:Attack roll: 1d20+13=20. That'll be a DC 22 Toughness save.

Not overly worried about the situation, the Russian notes: "***deleted*** it," and opens fire on the Seven. His opening volley indicates that he is an extremely dangerous opponent.

OOC wrote:Attack roll: 1d20+15-4=21, 26, 26, 31. He's using his Auto-fire to attack everyone except Eddie, in the order of initiative. It looks like he hit everyone (DC 20), including scoring a critical on Walter (DC 25).

Dr. Conni Luo

She barely has time to give a nod of acknowledgement to the honorable merc when the bullet smacks into her midsection. Even if the ballistic weave spreads out the hit, it still draws a 'woop' of expelled breath.

Walter

Toughness: 1d20+6=24

Walter lets out a blast of air as the bullet bites his vest, causing his hand to slip on the grenade and pull the pin. He still had hold of the spoon but the shot almost brought him to his knees. He looks towards the Russian and then to Martial Artist, "I can take down this flucker. You guys get Mo...."

Eddie Murtaugh: The Angel of Death
HP: 8 Status: Brused/Injured

Without even a flicker of hesitation Eddie steps right into the swordblow, his own sword held loosely to the side in his right hand. His left hand lashed out like a viper catching the other man's hands as they tried to raise the sword up and stopped it dead in it's tracks.
The very edge of his palm trickled blood as it rested against the Japanese assassin's blade.

"Fuzakeru na!" he snaps angerly.

Shen Sung:
HP: 2

Shen Sung waited as Conni appealed to the Mexican and while it seemed to work the Russian was less caring and opened fire, and Shen was already moving towards the man. Charging someone armed with an automatic weapon was foolish but such a bold move tended to cause the person to pull their shots simply in reflex of the approaching target the martial artist had learned many years ago.

This time, like so many others, Shen was shot once again but it was barely a grazing hit to his shoulder. It burnt more than anything else but it fueled the anger that he'd been holding in check.

Walter wrote:"I can take down this flucker. You guys get Mo...."

"Allow me a moment's aid." Shen answers back as he comes closer to the Russuian, his hands already in the claw-like pattern he'd used so much in these past few days.

Shen Sung never actually came to a full stop as he neared the Russian, instead he lashed out with the Tiger's Claw to the larger man's neck. But his intention wasn't to tear the tender flesh but to throw the man off balance and make himself vulnerable to whatever it was Walter had planned. Going on past the large Russian, Shen cleared the desk using his hands to catapult himself over the it and within arm's reach of the fake Mo.

OOC wrote:First let's get Shen's Toughness Check: 1d20+6=20, dead on the nose!

Now for his turn, bare with me here.
Using his Swift feat (which lets him move 10 mph on his turn) he's going to try & hit Genrikh Kuznetsov using Unbalancing Strike via a Tiger's Claw attack, then keep moving towards fake Mo with Move-By Action.

Tiger's Claw Attack: 1d20+8=28, natural twenty to boot. But instead of doing damage the Unbalancing Strike will force Genrikh to make a Reflex Save [DC 18] (base DC 10 + the attack's damage bonus). If Genrikh fails he will lose his Dodge Bonus to his defense for the next round.
