Could be interesting. Might need to put a limit on how many random traits we can throw on a guy.
Or a way to veto somebody who's just gone off the deep end ;~)

I like the idea personally.

As to Arkrite's questions: I'd say 3-4 quirks/traits per character, that sound pretty manageable. And if 3 or more people would object to an offered trait that it be vetoed, I think that's pretty fair.

I concur.

It's something I've done with my tabletop group. With them I took the sole veto power, as they are a weird bunch who wanted to put some really off-the-wall stuff through. I objected to such traits as "has a prolapsed anus", "communicates exclusively through messenger falcon", "climacophilia", and other such oh-so-fun quirks.

Still, I don't anticipate that this group will conspire to push goofy concepts through, so a 3 person veto would likely work out.

Well, I'd usually assume that GM has veto right automatically.
I mean, if the GM doesn't like the character it's probably not going to get any face time. Or will end up dying off really quick. ;~)

True. And I agree that Mich (of course) would have total veto power. The 3 or more was in regard to us PCs vetoing a possible trait suggested.

Well that combination would be a recipe for disaster.

I have a friend with bad allergies. She sounds like she perpetually has a cold.

I felt like I had a perpetual cold for years while I was in high school.
Always pegged it as the fact that I never got more than six hours of sleep, and that I was just catching colds real easy.

Turns out I was allergic to our pet cats. :~P
And elk.
