Zombie wrote:"I think the best thing we can do in that prison before the power comes down is scout around."
His lips pursed together when Mina pointed out the likely hood of their needing a lot of gas. He then nodded in acknowledgment of her point. Avory still seemed leery about the entire idea of anyone going inside without powers. But if they did, they needed a clear purpose, so when Mina talked about scouting, he responded, trying to get her to more clearly flesh out the idea.
"Our priority target has to be that lab, and we know where it is. From there we should be able to get the information we need. So what would you be looking for?"
The Twist asked and proposed a slew of different ideas. Which was his thing, but it was also distracting. Avory eyed Twist as he switched gears and sorted out what he was talking about.
Twist wrote:"Maybe all we need to do is get the person nullifying everything out.
Instead of cutting off the power could we overload it and burn everything out. I guess they gotta have circuit breakers and stuff, but those would all have to be reset, right? It might give us a small window of opportunity.
If they are getting supplies in, some of it has to be food, is there any way we could drug the food?
Does the nullification field stop robots?
"I'm starting to think you have ADD or something. Instead of going all over the place, try to focus a little more man. It makes for less confusing discussions."
Avory was still trying to figure out how robots factored into Twist's line of comments when he tried to work through a respond to the younger man's ideas.
"The null field is only one issue. So finding the paragon who does it won't solve everything, and all we know is that it nulls paragon powers not 'bots. Hitting the windfarm should solve the null field issue for the most part. WHich is better than running around looking for one paragon, in a prison full of them."
"The drugged food idea isn't bad in itself, but they'd probably notice tampering with packages, not to mention we have no idea whether they'll use it or when."
A pause was given, as Avory made a mental checklist of what Twist had brought up.
"I don't know if we could overload their entire system either. Jane only mentioned the wind farm had a connection to whatever was amplifying the paragon's power nullification ability."
After responding to Twist he leaned back, and pushed himself into his cair, stretching his back muscles until his chair creaked. Then Avory straightened again and glanced between Zombie and Twist.
"So far he have our first target: the lab ... and we know we want to hit the farm to drop the null field. We also want a group going in with the sub, but still need to fiugure out what they're going to do."
