Your assessment of the security indicates AEGIS has done a pretty complete job. The two black holes are what is being transported and the vehicle itself. You aren't allowed with 100 feet of it, much less inside. None of the AEGIS personnel present are very talkative and you don't have access to AEGIS personnel files to make assessments on potential traders.
The biggest problem you see is that they are making such a big show of security and they do not have the transports to move this many people with the vehicle; therefore, while on the move AEGIS is relying almost entirely on the vehicle's defense - which you have no idea what they are.
