"Sentient cancers? Are you KIDDING me?" Darklite frowns. "How are we supposed to deal with that? I mean....I could probably sterilize the place with my powerrs, but that would probably destroy anything we're hoping to find.... Pandora, do you know if there are any hazard suits?"

"What about antidotes, vaccines or other counter-measures? I imagine Echidna must have had fail-safes to protect herself from such things." Trissa leaned against a wall. None of her extensive training had covered such things. "If there are more spacesuits at Guardian Isle, those could serve the purpose right?"

With a raised hand, The Enlightened One chants in Persian, with hushed words "The desert is treacherous, it may often play you tricks in the sand" . When he finishes, a flash of light fills the area, and when it subsides, there are hundreds of Hazids and Arcanauts.

OOC: Using Illusions in the sand (Illusion7, Three senses types, Area 125 cft, independent 6) to create as many replicas of himself and Arcanaut as possible.

" Echidna engineered herself to be immune to all her own pathogens. As am I, by virtue of my genetic makeup", Pandora states, " and I am not joking about the sentient cancers", she remarks to Darklite, " she used this as 'divine' punishment against human tribes that disobeyed the Gahral. A sickness that travels inside the body, a tumour capable of spreading wherever it wishes."

" Was zum...?" one of the Valkyries curses, then begins to blast away, her eyebeams cutting through the copies without actually striking the two heroes. The other thinks for a moment, then rushes off, soon returning with a rather large boulder...the size of a house.

Arcanaut, Hazid again, the Valkyrie will use the boulder next round...they are not exactly stupid...

Seeing the respite temporary, Arcanaut moved with the ACCS' tremendous speed and with pounding steps, moved away a safe distance, firing another blast of the Arcane Cannon upon the boulder holding Valkyrie.

Move, then Arcane Cannon.
Attack: Arcane Cannon: Ranged Area Burst Damage 10 (Penetrating 8, Incurable)
Focused on the boulder holder. I think it takes damage too.

Hazid smiled, as his diversion gave Arcanaut enough time to backpedal and strike. A giant boulder was a rather inventive solution, if the images remained all together; so with a mental command, the images moved in various directions. The Enlightened One began chanting again, and as the spell touched it's end, Hazid lifted an outstretched arm. "Surrender to the power of the Sand!" he exclaimed, and a burst of sand flew from his hand, enveloping one of the valkiries holding the boulder. The female warrior's vision is distorted and she's transported to the blazing desert of Sahara, and feels her strengths drained, and a sense of dread fills her soul.

OOC: Disperse the illusions to a 125 ft area as a minor action. Then use "Surrender"(Affliction +8 Vs Will, 1st: Dazed 2nd: Stunned 3rd: Incapacitated. Progressive, accurate 3 ) Attacking with a 27 so I think that hits.

Trissa looked at the rag she'd been holding against her side. It was red with blood but it looked like the bleeding had stopped. It would be fine as long as she didn't take another hit there before it could be treated. But it might be an infection risk against Echidna's attacks.

"Watcher, do we have any hazmat suits suitable for combat?"

The blast shears a large portion away from the boulder, though it is still something one might not wish to be struck by. The Valkyrie wavers as she is hit, although she keeps the boulder firmly in her hands...

Hazid's attack strikes the head of the Valkyrie, causing her to scream out silently in the non-athmosphere of the moon. Unable to hold the boulder any more, she drops it, crushing two of the illusions...

The other Valkyrie glared into Hazid's direction, his motion having betrayed him as the original.
Her eyes loosened a blast of pure energy flying straight at Hazid...

" Hazmat suits? Hmmm...yes, there are a few...", Watcher responds quickly.

Hazid is unable to dodge the eye beams, and is hit squarely in the chest. The pain paralyzes him for a moment, as he tries to gather his wits.

Toughness save: 21 Failed by more than 5, so I'm guessing injured and stunned? Will spend a HP to remove stunned.
