All teenage Mark Conner wanted was to be a hero, and acknowledged for it. But even though he made it as the chess gadgetry themed Chessmaster all the way to the Teen Titans, it became a painful cycle of wanted everything else that someone had. The other Titans always seemed to have the credit for everything, even things he was primarily responsible for. Starfire was Robin's girl, torturing Mark's crush feeling deeply. Eventually, he doubted whether the Titans even acknowledged him on the team.

That was when the Heartless came, and Chessmaster didn't have the will to stand up to them like he normally did. Fortunate that when consumed, he still had enough to live on as a Nobody. The Darkness took note of him, and offered a place where his works would always be acknowledged and he would want for nothing. Mark accepted, dubbed Mark Cognitum in place of his old name.

The Knight of Envy rose, empowered with the energies of his gadgets, but not needing them anymore.

Before I finish up the character sheet, what are the Nobody powers, the 5 worlds to choose form, and how are the heartless versions built?

Very Nice Enigmatic one.

The heartless are about as varying as u wish them to be. The standard heartless model, the "4 greater's" heartless, and a base model for "your Heartless" will be added shortly. Just getting it all clean on paper before putting it up here.

The 5 worlds you are choosing from are basically just filler.....kinda like your home turf. Basically they will consist of the "World" you came from and 4 others that are considered "Places of Darkness". Where the heartless are winning against the populace.

Dantes domain is full of extreme civility and noble behavior. The general rule of his domain is that at any time duels are allowed for any reason. Every little slight is cause for ruination of the person who slights.

Background

Greed comes in many forms. For some it is wealth, others love, and still others adoration. Edmound fell prey to none of these things. He had all the wealth, love, and adoration due to wealth he could ever want. His greed was for revenge. It was all he lusted after while he rotted away in his cell. Each night he would dream of it. After his bout with suicide by starvation, it drove him onward. Upon his escape, the vast treasure he was given by his deceased prison friend allowed the lust for revenge to be satisfied.

Like all lust though, the need for revenge turned into greed. It wasn't enough to strip those who made him suffer in prison of their wealth, titles, and families. He had to have more. Through deception, he exacted his toll and took his revenge by taking their sanity and lives after making them suffer the agony of losing everything. By the time the darkness came, Edmounds heart was almost completely dark. Somewhere, someplace someone had wronged someone and the need to have more revenge for slights of even the smallest magnitude was all consuming.

The heartless made short work of taking his heart and darkening Edmounds soul. Try as as they might, the heartless could not break Dantes iron will finely honed through decades of determined and patient revenge. His heartless self was a mangled wretch, but the Darkness saw potential in his fierce resistance and sole motivation to exact exact revenge. Like others collected money, the Darkness saw Edmound collecting revenge. There wasn't a moments hesitation when Edmound was offered a position of power.

Allegiance(Darkness): Despite being his own boss and having no allegiance to anyone before he became a Nobody, Edmound now serves the Darkness.

Obsession(Ruining Lives): When Dantes feels revenge is needed for some slight, he can respond in a hugely disproportionate fashion.

Motivation(Revenge): It is revenge that drove his once bright heart black. He now craves to collect it like men crave money, even going so far as to take revenge for someone else who might not necessarily want it.

Power Loss(Blamless): Dantes is powerless against those who have never wronged anyone.

Personality

Edmound Dantes is a cold, calculating, and patient person. To say he is a sociopath would be too weak. He is very good at imitating emotions and making people believe what he wants them to believe. This is especially true in how he takes advantage of a persons natural greed by offering them plenty of what they want at apparently no cost. Beneath his incredible charm, he would do anything to punish even the smallest offense by destroying the offender. Before finishing off his prey, he destroys there support system and everything that might give them strength. Another side effect of his obsession is that he remembers any slight against him and pays it back 10 fold, when the time is right.

I'm in 4 games already, but this is a very interesting game-idea. I'll offer some concepts from the top of my head and see if I have the time for this. Wouldn't take away a spot from someone more able to commit to the game.

Wolverine, Hulk or Sabertooth as knight of wrath.

Kirby as knight of gluttony. (Are you familiar with there will be brawl? Think a cannibal like hannibal lecter)

Shikamaru from naruto as knight of sloth.

Lol, some very nice ideas for characters, any of those will work well.

I am not familiar with "There will be brawl" ...but i have played kirby games / smash brothers....(I know all the character you listed.)

I have no problem if you are in a lot of other games, just as long as you are available to post for this one also.

As for myself, I will usually be posting Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Nights (11pm - 7am Central Time) I will post more often than that when things are getting heated / active.

It was a 10 episode miniseries that ran on the Escapist website, the episodes can still be found there. Basically a VERY dark and gritty amalgam of all of Nintendo's games with some Sony thrown in there (Solid Snake, Sonic). Some of the blackest humor I've seen too. The only games with Kirby I've played are Super Smash Bros Melee/Brawl, but you know how Kirby swallows his enemies to get their powers? Now take that, make Kirby human-sized, give him a personality like Hannibal Lecter and take the power-stealing to cannibalism-levels. There's some nightmare fuel there that might make it too dark for the game.

My alternate choice would probably be Shikamaru. Might go with him anyway, just wanted to bring up Kirby.

As for the time-commitment, I can handle another game easily during the normal day-to-day, but I figure when the occasional exam week or other 'crunch time' crops up it'll screw me over just as bad whether I'm in four games of five.

Due to the fact that Chimera is more prone to violence and destruction than most Heartless and Nobodies, her domains are even more ruined than the domains of others.

Appearance:
Height: 6' 7"
Weight: 300 lb.
Chimera looks basically like a large black anthropomorphic lizard, with deep blue eyes that glows whenever she uses her psionic powers. Her mouth is lined with sharp lizard-like teeth, though she also has a set of intimidating fangs, and a long, forked tongue.
She wears a black armor, not for protection, but to cover her body and face because of her hatred of herself. Instead she has made her armor as a face for what she has truly become; the personification of her hunger for violence.

Background:
Following the success of Project: Rebirth and the creation of Captain America, the Weapon Plus Program went back to animal experimentation in the hopes of discovering new ways to develop living weapons could might be applied to human test subjects in the future. The first of these were Project: Predator, which spanned from the late 40s to the early 50s, during which new drugs, serums, and other chemical compounds were tested out on animals.
The second was Project: Chimera, which spanned from the late 50s to the early 60s. During the first period of Project: Chimera, animal embryos were grafted together through use of various chemicals and radiation. Very few embryos survived the process, but those that did were cloned and grafted with other animal embryos through the same process. The resulting animals were highly unstable biologically and mentally, those that didn't die were highly unpredictable and aggressive.
From there Project: Chimera split into two branches, one attempted to enhance and condition the hybrid animals, while the other continued with its previous experiments, but with the inclusion of mutant cells.
At Project: Chimera's conclusion, 12 specimens had survived, but the project's greatest success was also its greatest failure, and marked the end of the project.
Subject 12 started out as a weak, malformed reptile-mammal hybrid. But she soon caught the attention of her creators when she died during testing and then came back from the dead. They then began to test her regenerative capabilities through a series of experiments which could only be described as torturous. As time passed, she grew stronger, more resillient, and even becoming more human in appearance. But when her creators began to hear whispers in their thoughts, they grew concerned. Eventually, due to the unpredictable nature of the Weapon III subjects and the project as a whole, they decided to put Project: Chimera on ice indefinitely. So they put all subjects in stasis and eventually abandoned the facility.
Nearly 50 years later, she was awakened when a terrorist cell had discovered the facility and ignorantly released all 12 subjects, who proceeded to kill the hapless terrorists, and then went rampaging in the surrounding towns.
While Subject 12 deeply enjoyed the violence and the killing, she could sense the pain and suffering of her victims, due to her growing psychic powers. She decided against fighting, as she didn't want to inflict those feelings upon anyone.
But something was beginning to grow within Subject 12. A hunger for battle. So she decided to only fight those who would harm the innocent, and even then she wouldn't kill them. She then adopted the name 'Chimera' after the project which had created her.
At first, everything was fine. Despite being persecuted by people who hated and feared her, Chimera grew to become somewhat of a hero. But then her hunger grew. She began to kill the criminals she pursued, and soon after that, the people who tried to stop her. It wasn't long until Chimera had the whole world against her, and although she still felt sorrow for any lives she took, it became increasingly overshadowed by the bliss she experienced in every battle and slaughter she took part in.
When the Heartless came, Chimera fought relentlessly, not to defend the world, but simply to feed her insatiable hunger for violence. But even then she was consumed. Chimera still isn't sure whether it was her will that pulled her through and allowed her to live on as a nobody, or if it was her hunger...
Nevertheless, the Darkness offered her a position where her relentless hunger would be kept at bay. Chimera accepted, and became the Knight of Gluttony.

Shikamaru it is then, cool. I'll work on him later today, just popping in to check up on things. Like your choice of Servants of Darkness/Four Horsemen, really interesting takes on the different aspects but really spot on. Best thing about amalgamated universes IMHO, you get very interesting takes on things.

Weapon 3 is very interesting. And i love the picture.
