This whole thing remonds me of the early seasons of Poltergeist the Legacy. Before Sci-Fi ruined it.

Like they did to Sliders.

And Outer Limits.

But surprisingly not Stargate SG-1.

Well, I started watching Buffy on Netflix, and I just finished the second Dresden file books. And since its October anyways,well I decided to go nuts.

Right, cynical soldier, being that I am one, that should be a stretch for me to play.

Seriously, easy concept then.

Ex-Army, former security contractor in Iraq. Worked Intelligence in the infantry (that way he has an excuse to have investigate and useful skills.) Tactically minded, still a professional, no PTSD or any of the usual stuff I put on my ex-soldier builds. Think Sam Elliot from "We were Soldiers", but younger.

I'll have stats and a real background up after work. If anyone beats me to the punch I'll just have to edit this post and act like the stats were here all along.

To be fair. Season 4 of sliders was better than season 3. At times it was passable. Season 5 sucked baaaaaaaaaaaaaad though.

And Cri? Those were the crappy ones. The series really hits its stride starting with the third one. Thats when most of the supporting cast really start to show up.

To be fair. Season 4 of sliders was better than season 3. At times it was passable. Season 5 sucked baaaaaaaaaaaaaad though.

Season 3 was when they spent half the season chasing Rickman, found Maggie, and fought an evil, female Quinn. And they tried to copy every hit movie from the previous five years. Yeah that sucked.

Season 4 is where Wade was dropped and Quinn was introduced. It was okay, but I hated the season finale.

Season 5 was pure dreck.

Wasn't season 5 also the one so bad not even fighting Londo Mollari for an entire season could make it watchable? Or was that 4?

Better than that even. I remember the original two seasons of Sliders when it was on network TV (UPN originally, along with that time travel cop show). (I don't have cable, haven't for a LONG time) It wasn't a bad series, though it sounds like it slid down hill rather quickly.
