CD, are those the three degrees you wanted? Vulnerable and Disabled have very different effects.

Yeah those were the three degrees that I wanted. Vulnerable slows their reaction times down, disabled makes them sluggish of thought, giving them the penalties, and incapacitated puts them out completely.

Hmm... If the Golem isn't living, you could sell off the STA to --. Unlike in 2e, it isn't a terrible deal.

I'm enjoying all the builds submitted so far. This game is going to be INTERESTING.

You keep saying "INTERESTING". Which in my mind sounds like a threat :D

Remember what happened in Freedom City on July 4th? In Belarus a few days later? In Russia on another world?

It's not a threat. It's a promise.

To quote Mister Sam Beckett: Oh, boy!

Anyways, I'm in the process of working on my character.....it's a bit slow going.....have to read my dusty 3E book, then re-read it some more, then double check what I just re-read......but it's coming together. I'd say it's about half done so I'm hoping to get the build posted by tomorrow at latest.

I did, I sold Stamina, Prescence, and Intellect. For some reason Herolab didn't mark them as a (-).

The way he says INTERESTING puts me in mind of the old Chinese curse...

Which is probably for the best.

You might need to update your HeroLab, CD.
I used to have the exact same problem, but they fixed it up after I talked to them.

I'm struggling with an idea and was wondering if someone could help. I'd like figure out a method for Sam to not be bothered by corpses and decay (meaning they don't disgust her, not that she isn't potentially terrified of monstrous zombies or the idea of dying). I'm honestly not sure if that's even a game-relevant effect to the point of needing an Immunity or even a Feature but since it is a mystical, horror game, I can imagine it coming up here and there. Any ideas for how to represent something like that and what it might cost? Is there even a roll associated with encountering rotten things (not eating them or resisting airborne diseases associated with them, just being in their presence)?

I intended Sam to be fairly frail physically (sans her magic of course) so just upping fortitude doesn't seem appropriate.

Normally there wouldn't be any such roll but we could encounter something that forced some kind of "horror check", which would probably be a Will save. I think either a 1 point Immunity or a Feature would be the right way to go.

A necromancer with a strong stomach seems quite reasonable. For being able to handle dead bodies without a problem doesn't seem to need a power point. Now, if she would be unbothered by the scenes that would gross out a demon of Nurgle, then I'd think it would need some form of immunity.

A partial immunity to disease and nausea for 1PP might be worthwhile. Or a version of Lionheart that applies to being sickened rather then fear could also work.

I think you need to be upfront about the possible existence of anything resembling Nurgle in this game.

I was just thinking not being really bugged by handling dead bodies, seeing ghosts that show how they died, etc.
I don't imagine her being completely immune to really unnatural scenes so for now, I'll leave her with a Feature as a place holder and if she's accepted, maybe it can be refined a bit for exact mechanics.

Oh, don't worry. I'm not going to get my Black Crusade tabletop game mixed up with this play by post game.

Probably.
