Sorry, it was that or blindside him.

Sakuro, in the interest of preventing infighting, please tone down the condescension. I'm not going to ignore it and I will react accordingly.

As I said in my post, Tech in no way acted like a child and if you're going to insist on creating little bits of information to undercut my portrayal of my character, I am going to be greatly displeased.

Stronghold is going to react accordingly when Tech pulls a bad move, or throws a tantrum when he's called on it. Whether you intent it otherwise or not, he does seem childish. To me and Stronghold anyway. Until he changes that attitude, I see no reason for change on my part.

That was a far cry from a tantrum. If it seemed like one to you, then you are mistaken.

That aside, you as a player obviously know it's not a tantrum whether it SEEMS like one to you or not. You first post calling him on "making a bad move" was fine, the following post deciding that Tech was acting childish was not okay in any way.

And if you need a reason, I already stated one, to prevent infighting, and not causing problems where none need to be.

I'm not going to censor my character's thoughts or change the way they interprut things for you. If you don't like the image you're painting, think more on your character's actions. To me, his actions at the moment seem very immature. Whether he is speaking energetically or not.

Not everyone is great at portraying things, and not everyone is capable of seeing it, it takes some understanding between players. I am TELLING you, that was not meant to be seen as childish, and I'm certain you're mature enough ot understand that.

I am asking you in order to prevent further infighting. If you are refusing to cooperate, you are stating you don't care about causing problems, is that not accurate?

Take it as you will EPIC. There wasn't a problem until Tech made it into one.

There wasn't a problem until you as a player intentionally misinterpretted the intention behind my post and turned it into a problem.

I am asking nicely, you are refusing to cooperate. Who is the problem here?

Personally, I'm thinking IC clash between two strong personalities over what constitutes appropriate conduct, who is in charge and when someone is being childish is perfect :D
Goes to perfectly show that we haven't been together long, and most of us are probably used to being our own masters, and I think such clashes are far more realistic than if we all got along fine and everyone knew what they were doing :)

As long as all the clashes and disagreements are IC and not OOC anyways.

Incidentally, will I need to IC poke Tech again re: Comms request after a minute or so?
Not sure if Corona is being ignored IC due to Tech having more important things to worry about, or if it's just been missed OOC

Actually, I missed Corona's post... I'll edit in a response. Gimme a sec.

And for the record, I'm okay with character drama. After tech walked away, Stronghold didn't need to say a damn thing and it would have been fine, but other plays have a hand in describing everyone's characters.

I if were to describe Stronghold as childish in his issuing orders and getting upset about them not being followed, then he becomes seen as chilidsh rather than trying to be imposing or threatening as they case my have been intended.

That's why it's is incredibly rude to make such descriptions of other character, and I do NOT want it continuing.

Ok, just to play a bit of mediation here: Is this Stronghold thinking Tech is being childish, or is this Sakuro thinking EPIC is being childish? Because there's a world of difference there.

Stronghold thinks Tech is being childish. Sakuro thinks EPIC is being overly defensive about what one character thinks of another. That is his right. As it is mine to disagree with his view on how things should be handled.

Right. So we have an IC disagreement that has bled over into an OOC one.
Stronghold thinks Tech is impulsive and childish for taking what he considers a grossly risky act, and believes he should be in charge.
Tech thinks Stronghold is a condescending git who'd rather waffle on than make the hard choices, and is pissed that Stronghold tried to order him around on his own ship.

DONE
I don't want to see it bleeding into OOC any further. Confusion about what's IC and what's OOC does happen sometimes. We've now determined where those lines are. Drop it
