GM POST

The grasping tentacles trying to grab a hold of her evoked bad memories from their fight with Meltdown earlier. However, when Bobbie saw Lily move up behind her opponent she grinned wickedly.

"Keep your tentacles to yourself squidface!" Just as her tiny teammate's attack hit the guy who was like something straight out of a nightmare, Bobbie nailed the man with a high roundhouse kick. Octoman brings up a mass of tentacles to block the kick, but the kick still slipped through... knocking a tooth from Octoman's jaw! His head snaps to the side visciously, showing the awesome power behind the kick. Good thing Brawl held back, else his head could've been ripped off.

But while the arms were late in blocking, they did get there in time to wrap around Brawl's leg, preventing her from regaining her balance. She felt a wetness oozing from them, as the suction cup like grippers stuck on her leg like glue. Another wraps around her waist, it's tip slapping away at her face like a club. This could be trouble for the powerhouse...

Another -1 for Octoman equaling -2 to toughness checks. He is also dazed... again.

He attempts to grab again (no attack) and suceeds in grabbing. With extra effort, he grabs hold of Brawl, preventing her from going after the cat (She is immobile and vulnerable.)

Octoman is currently fatigued,

Sprocket is up!

Lily drops the Static Cling effect and switch to static manipulation. Her mind calculates the vectors and force thresholds needed for what she wants to do. She double checks her Radar for throwing calculation and targetting locks then hits 'Execute'.
Nearby, three rocks have static differentials imparted to them by fastidious application of Science! and high output capacitors. The three veer off in different directions, each heading for one of the opponents.

Split attack for tractor arms, using throwing mastery as powerful attack -2to hit/+2DC. splitting the 6 ranks of throwing mastery equally.
Attack 1 (1d20+14-2=26) toward the werecat, threatening civilians, DC 19 Toughness
Attack 2 (1d20+14-2=15) on the werecat about to pounce on sprocket, if it hits, DC19 toughness
Attack 3 (1d20+14-2=31) on squidman.... hmm.... I think I'll give a HP to temporarily gain improved critical throwing, so that 19 is a critical hit. DC 24 Toughness.

She then 'triple checks her radar...

Not because she hit the were cat square in the nose...

Not because the walking anime horror movie takes it right between th shoulder blades...

But because now her targetting system is stating:

**Error: Target Aquisition Failed**

She watches in horror as third rock nearly hits the civilians she was trying to rescue! Where did the other were-cat go!?

+1hp Sprocket: Oops.

Back in the mall, Sailor Fangirl began breathing heavier, as she picked herself off the ground.
"One Fandom to rule them all... if you don't join me... you will be destroyed!"

Sandra may have been to fast too accurately perceive... but her afterimages revealed her destination... the sports store.

The same store that just got wrecked by electricity, sending clothes, sports equipment, and other obects flying!

*Another* -1 for Octoman equaling -3 to toughness
checks. He is dazed _again_! This guy is getting pounded! :p

Mongoose misses her retaliation attack.

Sailor Fangirl is using the same area blast as before (electricity descriptor), targeting the sports store in general.

Lightshow (having already acted) once again delays his turn.

Luminescent has also already acted (I allowed an earlier post due to her and Kathy being isolated.

New Round.

Hardwired is up.

Hardwired (Sandra Collidge)
HP: 2 Condition: -1 injured, (Fatigued, maybe); Toughness 10

TheH0ARD wrote:"One Fandom to rule them all... if you don't join me... you will be destroyed!"

Hardwired had to repeat her routine of jumps and rolls, with the same result. The burns in her skin had healed, but the nanites' hard work was undone as more lightning arcs singed her flesh.

"Sorry, but I'm more of a Galactica gal!" She said as she exploded out of the sports store, scattering sports clothing as she bore down on the crazy girl. "Starbuck rules! So say we all!"

She jumped midair to land a roundhouse kick on the Vader helmet, letting inertia propel a turn that ended in a roundhouse punch on the girl's kidneys. Hardwired was merciless in her punishment, aiming for all of the girl's vitals and sensitives. This fight was already taking too long of her tastes.

The Sailor Vader-clad girl appeared to be assaulted by the Tazmanian Devil for a second, but Hardwired knew that if she was still standing after that pummeling, she'd be hardly pressed to follow, so she kept running, clearing a corner and staying out of line of sight.

"Give me a f&@$!! status report now!" Her electronic voice yelled. Radio communications from the others had gone silent for a few seconds, an eternity where anything could happen, hyperspeed or no hyperspeed.

Toughness check (1d20+10-1=10); except that: Toughness Second Chance check (1d20+10-1=20), one degree of failure.

Attack roll (1d20+13=30), critical... Toughness DC 27, DC 29 if Fangirl's Parry is 25 or lower, DC 32 if her Parry is 20 or lower.

If Sailor Fangirl is staggered, then Extra Effort to hit her again: Attack roll (1d20+13=17); bleh... Toughness DC 22 with no fancy extras. No Extra Effort if she is Incapacitated or is not staggered.

All done with Move-by-Action so Hardwired is around a corner and out of line of sight; that is, Perception powers cannot target her where she is (as was my intent on last round.... Fangirl should have had to move to see the sports store before she was able to target it, but she was dazed, so she could only move or attack, not both. I won't argue to keep the game moving.)

Regenerating back to -1.

Brawl
HP: 0 CND: Immobile, Vulnerable

Hardwired's demand for a status report was met with a stream of expletives that rang across the comm network the Hearts used. "What did I just %¤"#!£$ tell you?!" As she struggled to break free, Bobbie could feel the tentacles tightening their hold on her. A brief look of shock flashed on her face but it was soon replaced by cold fury and determination. No. No, %&!½ this, not again.

She redoubled her efforts to break free, pushing with all her might. Bobbie spoke in a very calm and level voice to her opponent. "Haven't you learned that when a girl says 'no', it means 'no'?"

Move action to use Athletics (1d20+12=16) to Escape.
I'm gonna assume he can beat that and use a 2nd Move to try and Escape again, this time using Extra Effort to increase the roll by +2.
Athletics2 (1d20+12+2=23), Condition moves to Fatigued assuming she escapes.
McGuffin's Workshop: Warp, Naga

I'll be out of town and unreachable at least from friday the 21st through sunday the 23rd.

"Erm... I think what Brawl means to say is that we are still engaged with hostiles, trying to keep them off civilians. A tentacle-armed African-American guy and a cat girl. Evidence suggests either one of them, or someone else entirely can project false images. I think that person is concentrated on our fight, but they could move anywhere else. No visual on Lumi or Magnet chick. Presumably they are occupying each other. We're doing what we can to end the active threats to assess Lumi's situation and back her up if needed. Still no idea why she isn't in uniform."
Lily quickly reports.
