We'll be using mIRC Aerlwyn. It's a free download. I still need to figure out how to create a chatroom - Doggie is very familiar with the platform so hopefully I can pick his brain to help get started.

mIRC is text based, though I have used companion programs like maptools to play on it, I haven't lately. It does have an option for speech, but I've never looked into it so I don't know anything about it.

mIRC is -mostly- free to use, it says it has 30 days on it, but that's when it starts an annoying pop up ad to register it. At 520 days it will begin to demand you register and ignore you trying to get into it. There are certain... Ways around it, but I try not to spread them as a course of others. Ahem, if you are lost, confused, or bewildered by the download, the easiest way to find me is via thunderdoggie on yahoo messenger, or in my game room on Darkmyst server. Darkmyst has their own java mibbit program at http://darkmyst.org/?page=webchat to hit my room, it's #DoggieComics and any ID that you find appropriator.

Ok, so if there are no objections, we will reboot the game, using miRC, on 4/29 at 1pm est. Players expressing interest so far are Aerlywn, Phantom Mouse and Doggie. We will maintain the same game setting and characters. I will setup a room for our game and will post it here. If anyone has any questions feel free to post them here or pm me.

Sorry to hear you go rando1000, but I can understand wanting to choose a face to face tabletop over by chat.

Ok, I've found a rp chat site that I'd like to use for our game - The Keep. Here is a link:

http://nexxushost.com/rpg/thekeep/index.php

Our game will be rebooting next Sunday @ 1pm est. The room's name will be "Silver Age" password "Stan Lee".
Drop me an email or post if you'll be attending.

Sorry this posting is so late, which is why I'm doing it here, we had a major loss with my dog of 18 years passing last Sunday so things have been slow to put it mildly. I should, barring complications with Mom, be able to make it to tomorrow night's game.

Does the room exist yet? I can't see it on either of the drop down lists on the page.

Hi. I am new to MnM (I just bought the DC Adventures book). I was wondering if you had any room or knew of a group that did. I haven't played an rpg in awhile. I used to play DC Heroes by Mayfair and the old FASERIP Marvel game. Anyway, your game sounds fun. Thanks!

Just a reminder to everyone that we will be meeting again this Sunday (May 6th) @ 1pm EST to continue our game: The New Guys vs. The Fiendish Floronic Man!
The game will be on the darkmyst site in the #SilverAge room.
Here is a quick recap of the action: The Floronic Man, along with 4 large animated trees, invaded the campus of Patriot University and attacked the Botany Lab located at Green Hall. Dauntless, Antrax and Jack Frost have given battle to the villain in hopes of stopping his ruinous rampage. After two combat rounds here are the modifiers and conditions I have recorded on each of the heroes:
Dauntless : (-4) and Dazed; 1HP remaining
Antrax: no modifiers or conditions; 1HP remaining
Jack Frost: (-1) and Staggered; 1HP remaining
Let me know if anyone has any questions. See you Sunday!

HI Back,
Doggie has told me that you're interested in playing a cyborg/robot hero. I was wondering, do you have anything written up yet that you can show me? Do you have a background story? If you're still working on the design you could always play one of the 'template' characters from the book to get your feet wet regarding game mechanics.

Let me know.
