Ok, quick question, especially for those who were in the previous New Guardians game...should we do a complete reboot or simply say the old new team disbanded?

Up to you chief. I gave you Darklite's reason for leaving if we go the continuation route. If we reboot then it doesn't matter.

Honestly, given the insane amount of sudden roster changes, I prefer reboot.

I agree that a reboot is simpler and probably better. Otherwise, there has to be some kind of history worked out between the members. To me, the only alternative is to have Trissa and Arcanaut as the only survivors of the previous team and they're the ones doing the recruiting instead of the UN.

Only survivors my foot. Darklite bowed out of the team to make more time for her acting career and still fights crime on a street level.

There were two votes in favour of a reboot, and I didn't saw the question in time to answer it before the IC was up, so I guess Neo-Paladin made up his mind. I have no arguments against it. My character has no fame related advantages.

It looks like a reboot to me. There's no mention of new vs returning members. I assumed that most of us had some sort of public presence in order to be chosen for the recruitment.

Hmm...last time Neo actually played out the recruitment as a kind of prelude, this time he skipped it. I don't think it was ment to be an invitation recruitment, but rather skipping to the results.

Your post mostly just confused me with the "You should already know me" flavor to it since I can't see why they would ^^;

Though I do get your point. Crystal should be fairly well known despite only recently realizing her powers. If not necessarily for what her powers are or any great deeds (she's really only had the one big moment so far) she's got an easily memorable look, and her identity is public

Funny story with her real name and hero name being Krystal/Crystal respectively. When she was first asked her name in the commotion following the accident, she gave her real name, but it was misunderstood as her hero name and put in the papers as Crystal, and it just kinda stuck.
