I assumed so since she said rations, backpacks and what not.

Which is why my character is carrying a Crowbar, matches, first aid kid, and canteen and purrifying tablets.

These are not things a normal person just carriers around.

The gun and pepper spray, I can justify because she is a woman who is often out at night, so she needs to defend herself against big, strong, people who may wish to do her harm.

Haha. I got it.

I'm studying for the bar to be a lawyer. I can play a law school kid who becomes a vampire. Bloodsucker!

I just cannot see myself playing this kind of game with super powers. So, I shall withdraw my interest. This is sounding alot like Marvel Zombies with character's origins happening at the same time.

You're missing the point. It's not zombie apocalypse with superpowers. It's zombie apocalypse where you get "infected" and gain some undead/monstrous ability but don't lose your mind. The powers are nothing heroic - they are one side effect of you surviving the infection.

EDIT:
I'm currently reviewing builds, please hold on. I'll answer any questions/posts since yesterday after the review - it's just that this latest post kinda stood out and had to answer it.

Sounds good Belial, (made a tiny change, dropped from luck 2 to luck 1, and threw that point into atheltics to take it from -1 to +1)

Doctor Hercule Mirriotte
Excellent character idea. I'd rather you limited Intellect to 5 - plus remember that normal humans can't boost toughness directly and so have to do it through defensive roll or equipment and that you're 1 point too high for toughness for PL4 - but other than that, very good idea for this kind of game.
You could, perhaps, give him some experimental substances like drugs and stims he makes himself. I.e. enhanced strength 1 (affects others, side effect: reduced awareness 1) as equipment for a stim/drug. Or Second Chance 4 (piercing/bludgeoning/slashing/fire damage, limited; conditions it helps you resist are delayed by 1 minute instead of actually resisted) for a pain-dampening drug.

Agent Trevor Mannings
Nice. No mechanical problems with the build. I'd pegged an agent for a gun, not a bow but either works and flavor is up to you.

Samantha Collins
Nice pic. :P And nice athletic archaeologist build - good backstory too. For your languages, I got a few minor nitpicks. Hebrew is not actually a very ancient language - that would be Aramaic - and hieroglyphics should probably be culture-specific. OTOH, instead of trying to learn lots of different hieroglyphic types, you could have a reference book or even mini-translator as equipment (i.e. put a bonus rank of Languages as a 1-ep equipment). Something that I found unusual is ranks in ranged attack but nothing you could use them with.

Daniel "Diesel" Davies
You got Great Endurance twice. Also, I'd rather you didn't have both strength and fighting at olympic athlete levels - maybe reduce one of the two by one point and make up the difference with a bit of Unarmed skill? After all, you're supposed to have had some training. Also, Charisma is leadership ability and self-confidence. If you want good looks, maybe a rank in attractive would help? 8)

Dr. Henry Jekyl XIII (if he's still an available submission)
You don't need Power Attack as an advantage - since an attack can't more than double via PA and your unarmed damage can go at most from 1 to 2, the base maneuver has you covered. I like what you've done with Second Chance and your skills though I am not sure it works. Gotta check my books - if it turns out it doesn't, Ultimate Effort would replace it nicely.
I am still waiting for that Bio if you changed your mind about retracting the submission.

Peter Pallid
Nice. Having a company man on the team might come in handy. Wights and Draugar would fit with your "cold undead" vision for the character and definitely fit the auditor flavor - them being tomb guardians of important (and thus buried with their riches) people. 8)

Jessica Stark
Heh. The designated blonde of the group has the highest awareness-related skills. Was that reversal intentional BTW? Mechanically, I can see no problem though I'd prefer her vision to be via telescopic lenses rather than her normal eyesight.

Shifted points ever so slightly so I could transform Jessica's Vision x10 into a telescopic lense that fits on my character's camera.

I made your suggested changes to Diesel. Dropped FGT by 2, added close combat 2, attractive and 5 free points in equipment for in-game pick-ups.

I got an idea I'll pitch. Girls a mechanic by trade, but a dabbler in most types of engineering. And while thats all nice, what she really has a passion for is street car racing. Turning a normal vehical into a top gear precision racing machine, and then taking it out and driving 200+ miles per hour through city streets and hairpin turns. Very illegal in most places, but well worth the risk.

To the group, she'd provide a few useful skills. Firstly, engineering. Somebody to rebuild damaged machines and equipment, keep stuff working, and build new gear when needed. Secondly, she'd be the team driver, able to deal with hordes of undead and jammed roadways, getting the group from A to B fast and safe. Also, an effective zombie slaying technique. Just run the things over. When that's not an option, she's got a nice shotgun and knows hot to use it.

This idea work?

Jason Callahan, J.D.
Age: 25
Height: 5'11
Weight: 170
Eyes: Brown; Hair: Brown

Jason was a normal guy. He grew up around Birmingham, Alabama. Went to undergrad there. And as soon as he graduated, he left for the West Coast for a much-needed change of scenery. There, he attended law school. Pretty average.

Sure, he had hobbies. He liked to box, and frequently used the school gym to work the punching bag. As a child, he would sit in the tree stand and hunt deer with his father. While he doesn’t hunt much as an adult, he does like to go hit the shooting range on occasion.

Still, nothing that far out of the ordinary.

Recently, he graduated and took the Bar Exam. He felt pretty good about it, so he decided to go take a vacation with what money he had. This led him to the island. He hit the clubs, had some fun. Everything was going great. One last hurrah before the real world.

…The real world will be waiting, right? Right?

PL 4, 60pp

Abilities (18)
Strength: 2
Stamina: 1

Presence: 2

Defenses (12)
Parry: 1+3 = 4
Dodge: 0+4 = 4
Toughness: 1 + 1 (Leather Jacket) = 2
Fortitude: 1+3=4
Will: 2+2 = 4

Skills: (22)
Athletics 4 (+6)
Deception 5 (+7)
Expertise – Law 5 (+6)
Insight 4 (+6)
Intimidation 4 (+6)
Investigation 5 (+6)
Persuasion 5 (+7)
Perception 4 (+6)
Ranged Attack (Guns) 3
Vehicles 5

Advantages (8)
Close Attack 2, Equipment, Improved Initiative, Jack-of-all-Trades, Luck (2), Well-Informed

Equipment
Flashlight, Smart Phone, Leather Jacket (protection 1), Laptop

Offensive:
initiative +4
Grapple +3
Unarmed +3, DC 17 toughness

Abilities 18 + Powers 0 + Advantages 8 + Skills 22 + Defenses 12 = 60

Complications:
Motivation: Responsibility – Jason was looking to be a lawyer. All he was waiting on were his bar results. He never had any real motivation to be a flashy hero. He just wanted to make a living. But when the Apocalypse comes, his altruism will emerge.

Quirk: Geek. Jason has extensively read comics and watched zombie movies. He may have his own ideas about the apocalypse.

Temper: Road rage and anything like it.

Development: Vampire. The joke just writes itself.

Oh crap. I had a short background but I forgot to copy paste. I'll do it after Prometheus.

In short: he's on vacation. He's not a special agent or a super lawyer or anything like that. (Boxes as a hobby and goes to the range every now and then.)
