Enhanced Trait and Enhance Ability are listed as Continuous Duration. This was the 2e duration for these abilities. The 3e versions should be Sustained Duration. This is the likely cause of Enhanced Traits getting -1/rank from Permanent.

Interesting. Each individual use of the Senses power only allows one use of Counters Concealment, which is awkward if you're trying to do a ghost. Fortunately, you can just apply the Senses power twice, but that's not ideal.

Oh, and in Alt Form Ghost, Insubstantial 0 is listed as "Incoporeal" instead of, presumably, nothing at all.

HL balks at having ranks in Create over PL.

If the hero is PL10 with a ranged attack of +8, shouldn't he be allowed to have Create 12?

Since Create allows a (psudeo-)Area attack (the "drop rocks" option), HL enforces PL overall on it.

Only in 2E. In 3E, it's a ranged attack. Which raises the Fridge Logic issue that Create gives you the ability to create objects and a ranged damage effect for the same cost as a ranged damage effect... but that's a 3E thing.

As noted in this Wolf Lair forum entry, if you turn on Attack under Power Effect, it will work properly using tradeoffs.

Where is Power Effect located? I've searched everywhere within Hero Lab.

It's in the Editor. You'd have to create a new power entry and have it override the extant one.

And... actually, checking the 3E PDF I have, looks like they changed it back to the 2E definition. There was an errata for DCA. ^_^ So Hero Lab is treating it right.

Just for the sake of completeness, I'm going to add a .user file on the Wolf Lair forum to allow people to revert to the ranged attack version. Same link as before.

Hmm. Rules for Metamorph state that "All forms must have your full Metamorph effect." HeroLab does not have a way to enforce this...

From the DCA Book
DCA Book, pg. 19 wrote:A restrained character is hindered and vulnerable. If the restraints are anchored to an immobile object, the character is immobile rather than hindered. If restrained by another character, the restrained character is immobile but may be moved by the restraining character.

While it isn't really a 'bug' per say, but it is something that might have been passed over.

The best way to handle this is just to check "Restrained", then check "Immobile" if they're also immobile somehow. Since Immobile supercedes Hindered, any effects would be the same.

Hmm, this will be kinda tricky to enforce. I've added it to the list.

Thanks for the new updates, but there seems to be a bug in Affliction with the Customize Extra.

After entering the conditions in the fields, HL still reports that I must choose an option.

I'm not sure how that happened, I know I tested it before I released it. :( Thanks, I'll fix it for next release.

I found a very simple workaround for this problem.

If you select a resistance before you select the "Customize" resistance extra, you won't get the error. Delete the Customize resistance, make sure you have something selected for each of the various fields, then use the Customize extra to change it. I also found that when I delete the Customize extra to fix this, and then choose Customize again the fields remain filled out the way I had originally filled them out before deleting the extra.

In other words, it "Remembers" the Customized data.
