Custom Sheets

^_^ I'm no XLST expert, but I've messed around with it a bit. I'm in general very happy with Hero Lab's character sheets as they are (making a note to check on the ability to modify the BBCode output when I get home, though) but I figured I'd query to see if anyone out there had changes they do want made in which case I could channel my desire to mess with the system constructively.

Have they posted any instructions on making custom sheets?

you can view the manual and in the custom output section of the program they have a help button that takes you right to it.

I do not see a custom output section. Where exactly is it. I am looking for the manual/help you stated but can't find it.

File / Save Custom Output
There will be a button beneath, Help, that has the webpage with instructions. They're still largely for Army Builder, but they apply.

There should be a "Sample Statblock" output sheet included with the data files - you can use that as a starting point if you're interested in working on one yourself.

Heh, it took me a while to get around to it, but I have some C# code to parse the XML and generate classes and a deserializer for reading it in. It's crude, but it works.
