Duplicating or Importing Minions

Postby Bombaatu » Tue Oct 11, 2011 8:21 am

I have a villain with Summon (multiple minions) and want to record X number of Minion Type 1 and Y number of Minion Type 2. I've built Minion 1 but Minion 2 is a stock build.

How do I tell the tactical console to show specific numbers of a given type of minion & how can I import a stock build as a minion? Are these even possible? (If not, I have an enhancement suggestion... ;) )

It's been on the list for some time. Personally, I've done it by writing the Minion's name as something like "Thug 35". When I run the game, I add a Thug from the stock portfolio and then, as the thugs go down, I change the name to reflect how many there are. Since Minions suffer the worst possible condition, there aren't really any intermediate steps to worry about.

If you want to handle Minions as separate individuals with different initiative counts, just add the right number of Thugs and let the Tactical Console handle all of the initiative rolling and bookkeeping.

Unfortunately for this particular character, the "minions" are Heroic, so they don't go down immediately.

I'll just build it separately for now - thanks!

So there's no way of just copying one (since they're identical). Or not have the generic builds show up in the Console?

As noted above, if they're built separately, you can import them into the portfolio, duplicate them, and then let the Tactical Console take care of them. :)
