DC "Races"

Is there anywhere in the book(s) where a package is listed for races like New Gods, Apokolipsians, Amazons, etc?

Race is just a descriptor like Nationality, Eye Color, etc.

It doesn't effect gameplay, just gives a descriptor for you to build powers off of.

Example:

Angel,
Flight (wings)
Immunity (radiant)
Immortality

And still DC has various species, with each member of that species gets the same basic power package.

(And the term is species and not race. Race implies that they are all within the same species and can interbreed)

That said, there currently is no such info.
But if we get it, I would expect it to be in the upcoming DC Universe book

Your right on the 'species' part, I'm used to D&D where your 'race' is Dwarf or Elf or Mindflayer...etc.

There wasn't a 'species' spot on my character sheet, maybe I should add one.

I'm looking forward to various racial templates in the DC universe book. A template for a average New God or Coluan would be a must.

That is what DC Universe book is for. People go on and on about what characters they want to see in the DC universe book but that is secondary to the first purpose: to list things about the DC universe, and listing things like a template for Amazons would be one thing that has a higher priority, or if we didn't already have it in print (like we do) a template for Darkseid's minion Parademons. So what types of races, or key minions are not yet in print but we know should be: that is what should have first priority over some character write up. Of course the templates should not take up much space.

I would like to see templates for New Gods too, and perhaps Old gods races, yes Thor and the gods of Asgard exist in DC universe, and perhaps like in Marvel with Agardian and Olympian a good standard template could be inserted in the DC Universe book.

Anyone want to list races and other key minion templates you'd like to see. That seems more fruitful than talking about some character that didn't appear in heroes and villains but we'd like to see listed, and we know some of those who could have been in the DC universe book like Darkseids key minions (like Granny Goodness) are in fact in the HnV guides, rather than a DC universe entry on Forces of Apocalypse.

If this were Marvel, I'd want a template for a race like Skrulls, Kree, Shi'ar, so for DC, let's see a White Martian, Green Martian, some of the key races we see in the Green Lantern corp. If there is something in DC like the Eternals, Inhumans, and Deviants, Brood, or the forces of the Mole Man. All of these would be great choices. I don't know DC Universe good enough to know the equivalent. So what in DC would be that?

Please list and let's see what actually it makes it into the book. One thing I like about DC was seeing Dr. Fate's and some of the magical minions/races, and Circe's bestial morphs. I think they are already in print though, but things like that is what I'd like to see
