Hmm, I also ordered from GR and have yet to get mine. Here's hoping it shows up soon.

I asked my LCS to hold a copy of H&V 2 for me when it comes in.

Just heard from my friend who got an email from Amazon this morning that the book was shipped out and should arrive on Tuesday! Imagine the excitement!

I'll post if Tuesday's arrival happens as scheduled. I am sure the news will be surrounded not only by "ohhhs" and "ahhhs" but by squeels and squees! And maybe a few squoos, too!

Has anyone who ordered from green ronin directly received their copy yet?

Still waiting on mine but I'm giving it some time before I get ready to give them the evil eye.

Yeah, I can be patient since it will largely just sit on the shelf and look sexy next to the other two. I use PDFs more than paper for gaming nowadays. I was only concerned because of the reports of stores getting them "soon" and then the report of an Amazon.com shipment having gone out. Amazon may not be good for release date estimate but they are usually spot on for their delivery estimates and I was surprised to see that Amazon was shipping before any preorders through GR had apparently reached customers.

Maybe I'm over analyzing.

There are a few PLX characters but such characters like Monarch and Spectre are PL 17 and 18 respectively. I got mine today in the mail. Spectre is the strongest character with a PL, but it says under certain circumstances he can reflect PLX depending on the GM. Awesome range of characters though.

Well, with much joy and excitement (not only for this, my 500th post :) ), but for Amazon keeping their word and delivering my friend's H&V Vol 2 as they promised today! There was so much squeeing and squooing, I knew what the news was before the words were said aloud! My friend says this more than makes up for the Vol 1 mishap!

Having enjoyed the series and the ride thus far, the sad news is now we only have 1 more terrific DCA book to look forward to.... :(

Damn. I preordered through GR and still have no book, and Amazon customers are getting theirs?

Has anybody who pre-ordered with GR gotten a book yet? I want to not be worried, but its getting difficult now.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, maybe the ones who've already gotten it paid for overnight or two-day delivery... though I have to admit I'm chomping at the bit a little myself over it.

I'm checking with the people who handle our distribution to see what's up with the pre-ordered books. They should have been mailed out before other orders, but it's definitely odd that people are getting their orders from Amazon before their orders from us.

When I hear back from Diamond (who handle our distribution of the orders), I'll let you know more.

Okay, reply received from the people who handle our shipments.

They've shipped all the pre-orders and they should arrive most places by the end of the week.

It sounds like they shipped the orders a little later than we (and you) would have expected, but they're all sent and they should arrive soon.

Sorry for the delay. All of you who pre-ordered definitely should have received the books before people who ordered elsewhere. I'll keep track of this in the future to head off issues like this.
