I'm hoping you're happy about the second part of that announcement, rather than the first part. :)

Yep, the second part... The haloween special wasn't bad, but i've wanted to see more of your players playing there own characters since ythe first haloween special with the advent of good old mirror boobs. Sure Mirror Boobs is unlikely to be in it, but i find the "anything can happen" nature of the non-canon games to be so much more interesting then the canon games. To me the most interesting part of these sessions is seeing what interesting things players come up with in character design and execution... So YAY! :D

Yeah, honestly I was starting to realize this myself with the Halloween special. As much fun as it is doling out cool new tidbits for DCA, I think we were just having more fun with our own characters.

Gonna see about getting some guest GMs as well, so we can see other GM's styles. More on that if/when it happens.

Fun fact: There doesn't seem to be a single one of these ever done for the champions system. Not only have i looked for them, i also registered on the Champions/Hero Systems official boards just to ask... Apparently the podcast play is a MnM conceit.

And just to keep people occupied until your actual play stuff is done, heres anotehr actual play MnM 3E podcast, that i've been listening to

http://gamershavenpodcast.com/category/ ... ty-united/

Its not great, but i've been in worse games.

Due to the long stretch between that recording and the chance to get people together again, I'm looking at scrapping the second part (sadly) and starting up a new 'campaign-oriented' series of podcasts. This time, I'm looking at getting my players together on a monthly basis and connecting the episodes together so you guys can see more aspects of gameplay, like how players spend their power points and how I adjudicate character growth. I'm still trying to put together a team of folks who can make it on a regular schedule, but stay tuned for announcements on that.

That would be totally awesome! Hopefully, you can put together this group and it will last.

Hey gang!

Tonight's podcast features Sean Fannon from RPGNow and DriveThruRPG, two sites run by the same company where you can buy all sorts of M&M Products (as well as other RPG products). He talks about how the Hottest Items and Copper picks and so forth are calculated as well as how the business runs (in general). What tools are there for customers and for publishers, etc. He's an author who has been working in the RPG industry since the 80's, and counts several Champions projects among his many accomplishments. It's an hour-long session, and he's got lots to talk about, so here's the link!

As the guy behind the BAMF podcast - thanks!

All of the recent 3e Actual Plays have been on the Vigilance Press podcast though :)

Thanks for the clarification, Mike!

The Actual Play podcasts will start again in earnest (we just did one for a different game system) very soon now. I'm planning to shift recording days to try and get as many players as I can, but we'll see how everything shapes up once I return from a short vacation.

Hope you guys enjoy what we have planned, we're going to kick off a campaign in an original setting and tease out some Vigilance products as well as show off the M&M system itself. We'll take occasional forays into other game systems with the same characters, to show how different systems handle them, in general we'll be sticking with M&M (it's my favorite system).

See you guys at the Vigilance Press Podcast! (vigilancepress.com)

That was really entertaining. Made my long drive from work more tolerable. I really look forward to H&V II.
