My copy came in today; to be honest, I'd forgotten if I'd just ordered the pdf or both the pdf download and the hardback as a combo, but I'm happy its here!

I'm very sorry for the delay, though, and believe me, we're flogging the people responsible!

I'm of the doubting sort, so I'd appreciate a link to the video of the flogging.

Since I have the day off and Seattle is less than an hour away from me, I'd be just as happy to see the flogging live!

(Yeah, I'm much more of an armchair villain these days...)

The floggings are actually for the warehouse staff, who are in Indiana.

Sadists! :)

Not sure if I'm being persnickety or stupid (alas my money's on the latter), but Ultra Boy's powers are listed at 43 points, but to my limited knowledge I count 39? Am I missing something somewhere? (please see the disclaimer above...!)

The real problem with Ultra Boy's build is that his Ultra-Speed power is an Alternate Effect of Ultra-Strength, but costs the most (38 points).

So if you make the Ultra-Speed the main effect in the Array, then his powers do cost 43.

For more errors like this that others might have already caught and mentioned, check the Errata thread

Thanks for the explanation Arthur (this is why you're a cosmic entity!), I'll take a look at the errata as well...

...Ultra Boy is listed with the Attractive attribute!! He is the only male I have yet noticed that has this particular trait. Is he really that much more attractive than all the other DC males...?

It's not what you have, it how you use it! At least that's how I rule it.

The distilled argument is that most comic book characters are drawn in an attractive way, but only a few use their attractiveness specifically in interaction skills. More specifically, the Attractive Advantage gives a Deception and Persuasion circumstance bonus to people who could be attracted to your gender, so you can make those susceptible targets more likely to believe your lies or be more friendly with you. If you can do that with everybody, you just have high skills and probably a high Presence, but if you mainly do that with only a portion of the population, or it's significantly more effective on them in particular, then it's the Attractive advantage.

I don't know Ultra-boy, but I would have to assume that if he's been given Attractive because he successfully flirts with women, gaining their trust.
Sorry, I can't hear your argument for realism over the sound of my eye beams. :P

Ultra Boy is not the only DC male to have the Attractive Advantage. Andre from the Blackhawks has Attractive, as do Air Wave, Arsenal, Booster Gold, Firebrand, Sebastian Faust, Matthew 'Red ' Ryan, Connor Hawke, Jack II (not in his write-up, he is stated as having it before getting his laser eye), fellow Legion member Sun Boy, Zachary Zatara, the Greg Saunders Vigilante, and Tinder.

@JD Rook: Thanks for the info. That makes sense and is helpful to know.

@Arthur Eld: My error, I didn't notice the other males you mention with this advantage, as I stated, only UB. I am glad that some other males are also able to have this attribute!
