ENCHANTRESS'S ELEMENT MANIPULATION

Postby gamemaster72 » Thu Apr 12, 2012 1:54 pm

ENCHANTRESS:

All of the powers mentioned as part of her repertoire of magical spells are included in her stats, except element manipulation. Why?

Does "Element Manipulation" refer to something other than the ability to manipulate earth, air, fire, and water? I'm not familiar with this character, so I don't know.

Most likely because they have different power sources. I don't remember my Enchantress that well, but I do recall she had transmutation powers that drove her to her evil side with use. Conversely, she was an accomplished image in her own right.

Yea, but regardless of the source, shouldn't they still be listed on her character sheet?

The fact that she does get driven to her evil side is mentioned as a complication, and it doesn't seem that they're tied into any particular powers; just her sorcery in general.

This is true. And shame on me for commenting without the book in front of me.

This is one of those "iconic" build argurments. They did not include it but she could easily stunt it. I haven't read the Shadowpact, but I remember her transmuting Brimstone's remains into snow back in the day of the Legends miniseries... and that this was (at the time) her signature shtick... and of course they mention it in the powers blurb.

It could be errata too.

Since these builds aren't held to Power Point totals, you could easily add a point or two to add it as a spell.

Ok, thanks for your input. And no problem regarding answering without the book in front of you. Half the time I'm asking questions without first looking in the book for the answers. Which is just as bad, if not worse. ;P
