Suggestions for “The Great Super Villain Contest” for DC?

Postby Pholtus » Fri Oct 26, 2012 10:19 am

SO I want to run the old school Champions adventure, “The Great Super Villain Contest" for my DC Adventures game. I know that I want to use Roulette as the head 'show runner' for be. But does anyone have a suggestion for the Big Bad that could be behind the contest? Also any suggestions on any updates I should do to it?

I don't know the exact details of the champion adventure you speak of cause i am new to m&m starting with DC adv. however i kinda know alot about the DCU some good villains are Brainiac , Zod, Lex Luthor , Sinestro, Grodd, maybe through in the rogues gallery (captain cold, captain boomerang, mirror master, pied piper, etc.) if you give me the details on the adventure and how the big bad is suppose to be i can help limit it.

Vandal Savage would be an excellent candidate for this. Other options could be Blaze or Satanus, the Penguin, or Glorious Godfrey/Granny Goodness/Darkseid.

And of course, Lex Luthor. He can be plausibly placed as the man-behind-the-man behind the man-behind-the-man in nearly every scheme in comic books.

Batman busts some mafioso in Gotham? Luthor. Superman smacks down a giant robot in Metropolis? Luthor. The Titans stop Mirror Master from robbing a bank? Luthor. The zombies in The Walking Dead? Yeah, Luthor... Katchoo and Francine are fighting? All because of Lex Luthor. Somehow.

Well, we knew there was a snake in Paradise... Even if Katchoo and Francine are Strangers to him.
