Have some troubles combing through all your stuff, Crinos...are the Darkness beyond Time or the Entropic Masters also a part of the Crinoverse since you took a lot from HED...also, is there a Divinos in the Crinoverse?
Sorry for the dumb questions but this has become so huge it takes soo long to comb through.

Okay, it's been way to long since this thread had anything. As the penultimate Chi-vengers adventure winds down, I'm gonna try and put up the Centurian Machines like I promised waaaaaaay back this weekend.

Also, just thought I'd do a secondary interest check in a cosmic themed 2E Crinosverse thread once Chivengers ends.

And, lastly, having finished Madoka Majica... I'm trying to find a way to make it's magical girls fit. I mean, come on, a world where human emotions are literally energy? The description is way to close to the Emotional Spectrum.

And the really scary thing is the co-incidence of the ending. A cosmically powerful magical girl connected to hope itself? If I didn't hate having PC's that closely connected to existing characters, I'd be tempted to draw connections with Megan. Heck, even with that I'm tempted just to find a reason to put Kyuby and Maxwell in the same room to troll the PCs. :)

Might technically be more effective to ask on the OOC threads.

I'm game. I want to see whether I can do someone super-crazy.

Oh, I'll eventually start a recruitment thread. Probably once the Chivengers movie arc gets to the halfway point. Just wanted to see how many of the people here were still interested.

Actually, I kinda see them not getting along too well. The question is mostly who the PC's would hate more. Kyuby is the bigger bastard, but is harder to hate because there's no malice or joy in anything he does.

in other news, I've got writeups on the characters from Palladium's Mutant Underground sourcebook, and will be posting them shortly

I'm also wondering if I should present the cons of Gramercy island as a standalone, or if I shuld write up century station, first.

in other news, I CAN promise that by the end of the month, I can provide a bookload of new aliens to go through, once I get Aliens Unlimited

Heroes Unlimited, Part 2: Mutant Underground

Arista - a mutant heroine with the power to create crystals to various effects, Arista is a staunch supporter of the Hero Act, and while sympathetic to groups such as the Tomorrow Society, refuses to cut them any slack whhile they continue to operate outside the law

Ballista - Alexie Dragonov is a professional mercenary (specializing in "corporate recovery") noted for three things: his firebreath and gravity control powers, and his ruthless efficiency. that said, he always tries to minimize civilian casulties and has been known to put himself at risk to save innocents, but to Ballista, the job always comes first.

The Bard - driven to delusions of Godhood when he draw a powerful FISS Ace during the freshman Terror event, Ed Matthews was swiftly recruited into Gene Nation, where he discovered that he had the talents of a speechmaker, able to sway crowds and hold his cell together by words alone. With Gene nation fragmented, Bard has begun gobbling up for cells to feed his own, drawing together a growing militia of the dull-witted and revenge minded fed on his cult of personality.

Foresight - a lor mentat, Freefar Harmdos came to earth as a member of Captain Kraken's crew, and has since made a very profitable living as a bounty hunter, using his mental powers to force his prey to surrender themselves to him

Frostbite - a cold controlling alien, Frostbite is a cold-hearted bounty hunter, tracking down fugitives and criminals who use Earth as a refuge, and would rather die than fail his clients. he's also successful enough that depending on the job, he'll support, be it those with skills he doesn't have, or for the numbers advantage.

Grenadier Ghost & Spook - both the products of a clandestine military project to create ghostlike supersoldiers, Colonel Richard Grenadier and lieutenant Greg Robinson went rogue when they discovered that the project was actually secret testings to create a 'safe' variant of the Wild Card virus. for their parts, Gradier ghost gained a bio-armor shell that can blend into its surroundings, while Spook has did actually get the intended inangibility, in addition to mind control and regeneration

Kenny & Ossie - a pair of freelance mercenaries who happen to be mutant animals, Kenny (a goose) and ossie (a horse)

Knightfall- a former member of the tomorrow Society, Knightfall is a super-theif par excellance who went rogue after the Freshman terror event, feeling that Gene Nations attacks had started a human/metaman war. to this end, he's started stealing and stockpiling all manner of high-tech weapons and devices, theiry that has only escalated since the passing of the hero Act

Lone Shark - a DNAscendant, Lone Shark is an aquaticc mutant able to turn himself into a wereshark. a psychotic predator, Lone Shark's thirst for ultraviolence and cannibalistic tendencies got him banned from the International crime League, a matter he consisers a selling point as an assassin who specializes in slaughter

The Lost Company - a loose-knit group of superpowered bounty hunters, originally concerned with helping bring supercriminals to justice, but are now more concerned with the hunt itself than any sort of justice to their assignments. as such, membership of the company flucuates wildly as metaman hunters come and go through their ranks, but the current core members are:
- Savage - a disgraced marine, Willaim Foxworthy's physical perfection and superhuman fighting skills are only slightly less dangerous than his win at all costs mentality. strong and charismatic, Savage created the company when he discovered anhunting was the challenge he'd been looking for
- Amador - a scout for an alien colony fleet, Amador was tasked with finding a new homeworld fo his people. but being an arrogant, self centred opportunist with chronic backstabbing disorder, Amador has decided he'll keep earth to himself
- Hunt - a weretiger, John blacktree is gradually becoming consumed by his animal nature, not only to hunt and kill, but to assert his dominance and superiority over his pack

Minion - a crazy homeless vigilante, Mionon the power to communicate with, control and mutate insects after being experimented on by an unscrupolous corporation, among his insanities is a pathological distrust of humans and human looking supers, and thus considers himself the protector of Jokertowns across amerca

Nevermind - an incredibly handsome and self absorbed telepathic jackass, Nevermind is a foxbat class "nuisance" supercriminal who turned to the lifestyle in order to pick up chicks. most recently, he's trying his hand at being a 'robin hood' style outlaw, exclusively robbing rich white guys, but for some reason, only a trickle of the loot finds its way down to the poor

Old Beth - an object mimic, Old Beth was one of the first superheroines in the 20th century, although she kept herself an urban legend at best in terms of publicity. Still, she had the experience and connections to serve as the heart of the tomorrow Society's operations in the great Lakes area, and her current fugitive status and the constant risks make her feel young again

Rampage - with superhuman physical abilities and , its no surprise that Rampage is an obnoxius and overconfident jerkwad, who regularly serves as bodyguard and enforcer to some of the worst and wealthiest men in corporate America. what few people know however is that Rampage uses his position to anonymously send vital information to the Tomorrow Society regarding his 'clients', leading to spectactular raids on their crooked works. for his part in such intense matters, Rampage's "only concern" is the personal safety of his employers, whisking them to grateful safety while the place is trashed.

Skyscraper - cheif medical officer and the only survivor of an alien scientific expedition that crashed on earth, Skowl Ukan was nursed back to health and given a place to stay humans who thought he was an angel, due to his attractive humanoid appearance and great feathered wings. Skwol soon found that his natural physical abilities were far greater on Earth than on home (making him the equivalent of a mid range FISS), and soon chose to become a superhero. not so much the violent crimefighting part (although he does take part in such), but generally just helping others, from finding lost pets to providing on the spot medical assistance

Warhawk - a nocturnal crimefighter who originally operated out of Milleniumm City, Warhawk's a known member of the tomorrow society, and has expanded his operations to maintain the society's underground activities throughout the great lakes area, operating as Old Beth's right hand

Okay, had some free time, so here we go...

The Centurion Macines

If even they remember when or where they were built, or even by who, the Centurion Machines have never revealed this. 100 machines created, pattered after many of the Multi-verses greatest heroes, to safeguard life and reality itself.

Each is based out of the Terminus, in order to access any point in space and time. While from a linear perspective, most have long since been destroyed, any of them could appear anywhere at any time. And, due to functioning outside traditional time, some may be older than than the multi-verse from their perspective.

While their goals are noble, the preservation of reality and life, the Centurion Machines can often seem cold, taking a long view of things. Being willing, if not happy, to let entire worlds burn in order to save a galaxy.

While most are front line fighters, there is evidence that some of them where built for other purposes, acting as Messengers, sentries, or even helping to help terraform worlds.

Number 1 and Number 2: The first two Centurion Machines were non-sentient. A pair of space capable fighter craft capable of combining into a several hundred foot tall mechanoid. Built for deep space combat and large waves of lesser opponents, their combined form had a number of large area affecting attacks. Their current location is unknown.

Number 3: The first of the sentient Centurion Machines, Number 3 is a planet sized spherical war machine. While bristling with point defense weapons, her ultimate role was his explosive capable of destroying a universe as a weapon of last resort. It is unknown if this was ever used, or if she is still active.

Number 4: Cantuck: Built resembling a horse, Cantuck was forced to switch bodies to a less powerful form some time ago and has yet to be able to return to full action yet. Though he is active helping patrol worlds in the Crinosverse proper.

Number 7/Noreen Noble/NoNo: One of the single most powerful of the Centurion Machines. Number 7 appears as a young woman with long red hair. She is capable of manipulating gravity, specializing in doing so to warp space and generate wormholes, and energy absorption and redirection. She was last seen in recovery mode, unaware of her identity and acting in a support capacity for the Chicago Avengers, where she had begun a romantic relationship with one of their members.

Number 19/Novendecim: One of the only Centurion Machines positively known to still be active from his presence in the Terminus, outside space/time proper. He appears a 60 foot tall humanoid robot, heavily scared, pitted and patch from past battles. While not one of the most powerful of them, Novendcim is one of the most experienced and battle hardened of the Centurion Machines.

Number 25/Grand Station Herald: Herald appears as a train and is not a front line fighter, instead acting as a messenger, often between the Machines themselves, helping them to stay in touch across time and space, but also helping carry messages and passengers between worlds when needed.

Number 32: Little is known of 32. He is a sentient nanotech colony, believed to help use this form to terraform worlds for peaceful colonists.

Number 86: 86 appears as a red and blue humanoid robot capable of changing form into a four wheeled truck form, often changing the exact configuration to match the world he is currently on. He often acts as a guardian in an area. Often watching a particular settlement for long periods of time.

Number 100: The last of the Centurion Machines. He does not appear sentient, and has only appeared piloted by another. Number 100 acts as an amplifier for Spiral Power, converting it's pilots will and determination into energy and matter. When last seen, he was found in Hel by Japanese high school student Haruhi Suzamiya.

Edited the Transgression post, to make it fit better. Removed Orcus, decided to use the idea of Discardia instead.

Don't get too excited. Unless you have Omni randomly mention her Transgressor friend, nothing I've written is canon.

It's up to you my Teenage robot/God-killer/Amnesiac friend.

Hey, the fact that someone else used one of my ideas is good enough for me.

But I did, in fact, work it in:

Okay renewed my subscription to Marvel digital, and have been reading Guardians of the Galaxy, was thinking of bringing them into the game.

Would anyone hate me if I made Rigby of Regular show into this versions Rocket Raccoon, since Comrade Raccoon is already on a team in this setting.
