Emerald City Sentinels
The first major hero team in Emerald City, Doc Steel set up this particular Sentinel branch after the silver storm incident created a bunch of new super powered criminals in the city. The official leader of the team is the heroine Ultramarine. The characters are more or less the same as described in the PDF's, with the following changes:
Dragoneye: The mystical dragons which supply Larry his powers are actually the last of the Chinese Dragons, mythical entities of great wisdom and power who were banished to the imageria by The Iron Khan centuries ago. Previous Dragoneye's have been members of the White Lotus Society, though Larry has yet to be contacted by them. The Previous Dragoneye was a servant of Dr. Sin.
Kid Robot: Surprising nobody, Kinettix was a front for Spartacorp, and it wasn't FOE who tried to steal KiD, it was PHANTOM. Now that KiD and Dr. Hallemier are safe from Spartacorp, Dr. Hallemier is working as a researcher for Omnitech/Steel. KiD is good friends with the Technomancer, and the two love to hang out.
Mongrel: Unknown to Micheal Morgan, the werewolf who bit him was not killed by the car crash he found him in, but from injuries he sustained earlier, when he escaped a chapter of Ashwood Abbey who hunted down and killed his pack. As it turns out, Morgan is also a latent metaman, which modified his state, allowing for his easy transformations and his resistance to silver. Since he is the only Werewolf in the area now that the local pack is dead, he is largely ignorant of his other abilities and powers.
Princess: Jessica Prentiss has the wrong ideas about her origins: She is not a metaman as she believes, but rather a scion, the daughter of Zeus himself, who seduced her mother in the guise of her father. Jessica is the first Scion produced by Zeus in nearly fifty years, and he has done all he can to keep the other Gods, especially Hera, ignorant of her existence (this is also the source of the glamour that hides her true identity; a failsafe that hides Jessica from Hera and other nosy Gods. Though even Zeus doesn't know why her boyfriend can see through it.)
Rocky: After joining the Sentinels, Rocky began to feel more comfortable about his status as a washed up former child star, and has begun to, in his part time, do some guest spots on reality TV and at conventions. Ironically this is at a time when nostalgia is leading to a mini revival of his show, with a movie based on it in the works. Rocky is also the PR man of the team, and often helps organize public appearances for the Sentinels. It goes without saying, but he and Troll are thick as thieves.
The Rook: In case you hadn't already guessed, the big multinational corporation Jack Cooper's parents worked for was Omnitech Steel. In fact, Jack grew up the childhood friend to both Hardcore and Technomancer, who was his inspiration for becoming a superhero himself (It was also Technomancer who helped Jack retain his fortune when the dot com bubble burst). Jack supplies the financing for the team out of pocket, and even paid for the Chessboard, the Sentinels condominium headquarters in downtown Emerald.
Ultramarine: Veronica Steely now has a part time job helping design power armor for Omnitech steel, and she is still looking into finding her brother. Her tough, no nonsense attitude is what made Doc Steel decide to make her leader of the team.
Victor Prophet: A clone of the famous thirties pulp hero Thomas Prophet, Victor Prophet was created by the John Smith Society to be raised in the image of one of their most famous members. Needless to say, there was no way Steel couldn't include him in a Sentinels team. If it weren't for his sheltered upbringing, it would be likely Victor would be leading the team instead of Ultramarine.
Vortex: Since gaining his powers and going legit, Vortex has made a friend in the form of Gatekeeper, who has been helping him learn how to better use and control his powers. He has also encountered Cerberus Rex a few times, but remains ignorant that he is the one Zed contacted.
As for Zed, well, lets just say Rex found him to be... delicious.
Xeno: The people of Rulu IV are still under the control of the Grue, and Malak/Kim is in no hurry to return "home" (at least not until she gets her head straightened out). Omnitech/Steel and the John Smith Society, as well as Iron Angel, are all offering to help Xeno patch up her muddled identity. Malak/Kim is also hesistant to trust any Grue she comes across; She knows that Pseudo and Changeling are alright, so she tends to give any good grue she meets a chance, but that doesn't mean she always trusts them.
Also, the men who tried to take Malak when her capsule was first discovered were members of SHADOW, who hoped to use the alien as a weapon.
Anyways, that handles that.
