Is the second book in print yet? Or is it still just PDF?

I hear theres a "Thor" in here, is it a "real' Thor (ie a Thor from this worlds mythology, comes from some Asgard) or just a guy who got powers somehow and calls himself "Thor"?

I just have the first book and the Thor in that book is not the actual god but he thinks he is. There might some connection to the Asgardian pantheon if the GM wants it but they leave it up to the GM. The book is basically a massive toolbox in the form of a gritty city that can be plopped anywhere the GM wants it.

Cool thanks.

I was gonna get the PDFs, but I think I'll get the actually dead tree versions since the main Bedlam book is so freaking big.

The great thing at Plain Brown Wrapper games is that all their books in the superlink series are designed to be dropped into a given campaign world with a minimum of fuss. Bedlam City is as close to a full blown campaign setting as they've ever gotten, and it's still made to be generic enough that you as the GM decide where you want to shove it. If and when I do use it I'll be using the dead tree version of Bad Guys with it. And if he's still watching this thread I would humbly ask that the guy who made the first Bad Guys book as a pdf or pod at Lulu make his second book a pod as well. I have some thoughts in my head of running Bedlam City and Freedom City in the same state and would love some more villains to play with.

Sounds like a good idea.

What all M&M 2e stuff has Plain Brown Wrapper made?

Besides Bedlam City, they have Bad Guys (which I have in both print and PDF), More Bad Guys, 13 Shades of Darkness (2 parts to this, I have at least one in pdf format), Promise Of Purgatory, Sting of Death and that's all I have from this same company. I have to go back and look at my PDFs but I would appreciate being able to get more through Lulu.com.

Hey PhelanMahoney, does the main Bedlam book have a city map printed on a page in there somewhere?

I also see that PBW has some bad guy books, what did you think of them? I will have to check them out as well.

Yup, there's a city map.

In fact, you can get a preview of it on my Bedlam City game thread...lemme look for a minute to get the right URL....

Ah. Try http://www.atomicthinktank.com/viewtopic.php?p=518946#518946 for a reduced map. It shows only the main streets. For a smaller city, put fewer cross-streets between the main ones; for a larger city, put more cross-streets in.

I've held off on buying Bedlam due to the fact that I had to save up for the expensive and large book. However, I've now purchased a copy and will review it once finished.

True. It's actually been a considerable help for my Iron Age of Freedom City articles over on the Settings forum.

I've consulted it for a bit of insight into what an Iron Age setting really looks like.

I enjoy Bedlam for similar reasons, you get to see what an Iron Age city really looks like and can go from there or play the city as is.
