But they went for an AquamaNamor. That on itself is *wrong*.

I'm of course looking forward to the next Spidey and X-Men movies.

I'm interested in how Cage and Ghost Rider will turn out.

I'm almost sure Iron Man will turn into a special effects flop, akin to Hulk.

If Marvel made a Weapon X movie, I'm sure that would be a hit, whether it sucked or not.

Please, not Tom Cruise as Iron Man - I'd much rather see most of the enormous paycheck that would require funneled back into special effects.

Captain America could be good but I'd really like to see the first film in the franchise be a period piece set back in WWII so that we could see how he earned his rep as the living symbol of liberty.

Mainstreaming Thor for a non-comics crowd, now that's going to be a challenge. Not an insurmaountable one but it's going to require just the right approach or the whole thing will collapse into Viking silliness.

Luke Cage could be fun IF they make it a period piece set in the '70s. Power Man came out of the whole blaxploitation cinema of that era and taking the approach of "Shaft with super powers" feels right somehow.

As for the rest of that lineup... *yawn*

I wonder what Warner Brothers has lined up for after "Superman Returns."

Latest rumor is that Magneto will have his own movie, set during WW2 and dealing with the aftermath of his scene at the beginning of X-Men 1, where he is dragged away from his parents.

I'd rather Wolverine have his own movie than occupy just about every damn second of the X-Men movies. I have this wild notion that there might be other characters in the team, and the plot might occasionally *not* revolve around the sulky dwarf with an attitude problem. In a SuperHero Hype interview with Famke Janssen (Jean Grey), she mentions that the Dark Phoenix storyline won't be central to X3, because Wolverine is obviously the most popular character and 'if anything, it will be Wolverine's movie.' Ugh...

Okay...that's actually a bad idea...

Dark Phoenix is the perfect time to LEAVE Wolverine...

I liked it how they acknowledged, twice, that "Everything doesn't revolve around you..."

Do they have to go out of the way to do that a THIRD time?

I'd watch all of those because I love superman movies just as long as they stop with the bullets boucing off the chest then dodges the thrown gun move. Plus you know good scripts, actors, etc... Well maybe I wouldn't see them then. :(

I read a wizard mag somewhere where they mentioned a Deadpool movie as a possibility.
