I've already read early reviews from it, it's gonna suck guys. Very sad indeed. Here's a hint as to how bad it's gonna suck, it was directed by Uwe Boll, the same guy that did the House of the Dead movie...

from what i saw , it will have some very creepy beastyes in it

Make sure to tell us whether it was a waste of money or not. From what I understand, it doesn't even have much to do with the game. They apparently went for more of an Aliens feel, ( a very bad Aliens feel btw) instead of the lurking horror that was the original game.

Oh yeah, it's based on a series of games actually. If you ever get the chance to, definitely give them a try. They are a very cool, sort of Lovecraftian series. The latest one came out just a few years back on PC and Dreamcase I believe, and it was very cool. Also try the Gabriel Knight game series. You can usually find them pretty cheap on Ebay.
