URL tag problem

Postby BlackDragon1200 » Sun Nov 09, 2008 6:41 pm

Not sure if this would be hard to fix or not but the url tag doesn't like it when there is a set of brackets in the url.

eg. Superman

It becomes a bit of a problem when trying to create a link to some Wikipedia pages.

Technically, ( and ) are not "legal" characters in URLs and should be urlencoded (so that the browser can convert them where required). Wikipedia is just evil and doesn't comply with apache standards. :D phpBB2 does.
