Tales of Sector 0137 - Green Lantern Corps Campaign

Postby dirkgentry2000 » Fri Dec 28, 2007 12:23 am

Found this gemover at rpg.net in the actual play forum.

In the poster's (board name is Private Eye) own words:

"Right, my players wanted to do a supers campaign, and we like the current run of Green Lantern Corps - and they all fancy playing GLs.

So, we've decided to try a cross between Green Lantern and Tales of the Jedi with a splash of NYPD Blue (or similar).

The rule system is M&M (winning over SAS tristat and Truth and Justice). GLs will be less powerful than sometimes depicted in the comics - using the Ring Bearer archetype from Archetypes Archive 3 (PL10).

Looks like they've been running this game for a little over a year - and I have to say the actual play reports were a blast to read.

If you like the Green Lantern Corps, the Nova Corps - or Cosmic Supers in general - I'd recommend the thread. It's got me powerfully jealous and wanting to run a similar game....

Thanks for posting the link. I just found this. Cool stuff. Looks like they are no longer running it, but it's a great read.
Thanks again,
Bill
