But I can so see Steve Austin, as Executioner!
Yeah, but evbery build I find of her has an Eldritch Bolt of Remarkable power. RM = 6 in my conversion. I can see it being bumped up to 9.
Oh yeah, forgot these are conversions. And your right, :) She always seems like a bad ass magic wise. Though in marvel there isn't much defense against magical attacks, unless you have a specific power designed to do so. Normal armor doesn't protect. I solved that problem by making magical attacks, have an alternate save of Will instead of the usual toughness.

Hmm... I should think about that...

Its a bit late but.....nice Glasya! Didn't think anyone knew about her anymore. Looking at her stats in the monster manual II where she first showed up in. First edition. Casts as a 20th level MU, 69 hit points. Seems like she's had an upgrade or two over the years. I think I like your rendition better, the PL 15 puts her in a comfortable bigtime villain spot. Good stuff.

Thanks.

I've only ever played one 1st edition game of AD&D, but the stats always did seem a little under-powered for her (despite the 20th-level MU caster level). Glasya got a huge boost in late 2nd-edition, when they made her an arch-devil in her own right, and everyone got a major boost in the transition to 3rd edition.

I'd imagine that anything in 1st ed, would be slightly under powered anyways.. But even that, has some appeal as well. In 1st ed. I'd imagine most starting characters would be PL 4, instead of PL 6 these days, considering the meta-gaming enhancements to the genre. Even with my conversions notes, a Lvl 20 character is roughly PL 9-10 .

Actually, for a mage in first edition for instance, 69hps was all you needed. Stoneskin and a spell sequencer made sure you wouldn't take damage and get interrupted by some pesky meleer, and at 20th level that meant Time Stop. Much like Mr. Paxton said,"Game over man. Game OVER!"

Although being a lowbie mage seriously sucked, even kobolds could end you pretty quick. God help you if they had bows....

Quite different from the traditional 3rd edition fire giant build I posted (who were PL 12), these fire giants would more easily fit into a M&M-based fantasy or superhero game as minions to be defeated by the heroes.

Love the Fire Giant, love the Fenris (perfect PL for their suckiness) but Fancy Dan...WAY too low in PL. I always saw The Enforcers as PL12/300 pt types...

Sorry, I tried to keep a straight face when I was typing it and I honestly couldn't do it! I kill me!
