Nextwave is a great comic, truly comic, series. Warren Ellis got to poke fun at just about everything he wanted to and did it all in a hysterical manner. I loved his choices for the team and main villain(s). He even used Forbush Man well. Funny, funny stuff.

I like the change to MODOC from MODOK. Wasn't MODOC what he was originally supposed to be called but he changed it himself to be more menacing?

Baby Moddie!
Actually that's the Armored adventure version, which was actually pretty intimidating.

Which was why I chose to use that version. Otherwise, I can't stand MODOC.

LOL. And I had never seen the pics you posted of Modok before---truly a Baby Moddie!

And wasn't there a Modam/Sodam who was an uglier, scarier female version of Modok?

Yup, with red lips and really pointy teeth. And the second picture I posted indicates one of those is the mom of that baby version.

Also from Nextwave, burger-shooting Elvis-M.O.D.O.K. (and that might not even be the most ridiculous thing on this cover  )

Elvi-Modokii?? Who'd-a-thunk-it?

That's another pic I never saw before!

Instead of shooting the burgers, I would have thought the Elvi-Modokii would have been eating them! And afterwards, maybe shooting out some tunes...

As I was looking for images of the Elvis version, I came across several pictures that seem to indicate that it is one of the alternate "outfits" for M.O.D.O.K. in Marvel vs Capcom 3. That one is at least holding a microphone XD

I watched part of that movie yesterday. It was so unabashedly bad, it was good. I didn't get to finish it, but somehow, I think the 20 minutes I watched gave me the whole story. My favorite part was the barfly dude killing a shark with a bar stool. Norm Peterson, eat your heart out! :)

Mad props on the build!

Thanks. I have not seen the movie, but I had the idea for how to build this thing, so I thought I would share.

I thought you captured it perfectly from what I saw. It was a huge waterspout that picked up a bunch of sharks (poorly rendered, at least by today's standards, computer generated sharks, mind you :)) and was slinging them out at people so either killed them or got killed in entertaining ways. You hit all the mechanics.
