Sore Loser: If she is beaten by a foe, Lolita will try seek revenge until either she has beaten that foe or they have made it crystal clear she has no chance of ever beating them (this has only happened one time and it was to Elite).


Background: Another student of the former Headmistress, Eliza Brandt, Lethal Lolita is still the same sadistic killer that she was when she first fought the members of the original Next-GEN. The only difference now is that her martial skills have become even more deadly and that she is now being occasionally used as an assassin by the Labyrinth to deal with certain ‘problematic people who refuse to consider the generous offers being made to them’.

I'm curious how Elite managed to defeat Lethal Lolita so handily. Stat-wise she seems to have the upper hand.

Elites smarter, and more experienced. Each fight would end up with her face down in the dirt wondering what hit her, or would end up with her reviewing the entire fight in her head and realizing that Elite set her up the entire fight.

Actually her skill levels would indicate that she is the more experienced combatant with more aptitude, so I'm going with T-Man's "he cheated" assertion.

Funny, that's pretty close to the answer I imagine Elite giving when someone says he cheated to beat LL.

To me the differences between Elite and Lolita's combat caps are very minor, only a point difference between them (favoring Lolita), but nothing outragous I thought. I can see how a set of bad dice rolls could give Elite the upper hand pretty quick.

Man Of The Land: While a well educated man, Zandar has spent his life living in the wilds of a land where dinosaurs roam as well as Serpent People and many other hostile creatures. This breeds a certain mindset, so while Zandar understands many of the social habits of the modern world he rarely observes them unless it suits his goals at the moment.

Responsibility ~Family: Jana (wife), Zarana (daughter).

Responsibility ~Lord Of The Lost World: Zandar sees himself as the champion of the Lost World and hence it's primary protector. If someone were to come to the Lost World to steal items (be it resources, animals or even people) from one of the many tribes or nations that live there, he would be the one leading the chase to recover said items.

Temper: Zandar is known to have something of a short fuse.


Background: Lord Robert Challenger discovered the Lost World while on safari in South America with his wife, Constance, and young son Alexander. Seeking to explore and possibly claim fame due to his discovery Lord Challenger convinced his guide to work with him in documenting their discoveries.

However a tribe of barbaric Serpent Men brought a bloody end to those plans, butchering not only the guide and the men working for him but Constance as well. Despite being badly injured Robert managed to escape with young Alexander to the Land of Mists, a region where the Serpent People refused to set foot. The encounter soon passed into the Serpent Men's legends and Robert was named Zandar, which in the local dialect of the Lost World means 'white devil'.

The head injury Robert suffered during the Serpent Men's attack combined with the loss of his wife and the stress of having to fight for not only his own survival but that of his young son's undermined Robert's sanity; so much so that he ceased all efforts to rejoin the rest of mankind. He proclaimed himself ruler of the jungle and raising three-year-old Alexander as his heir as he continued to fight against the Serpent People of the Lost World, eventually gaining allies in the tribes of humans who also inhabited the Lost World and were also enemies of the Serpent People.

Several years later Robert died in battle against the Serpent Men's leader, King Fang, though Robert managed to strike a fatal blow to his long time foe as well. But this left Alexander to continue the fight against the Serpent People and their new ruler - King Hiss, who picked up the reigns of control following Fang's death.

Alexander “Zandar” Challenger is a man of two worlds; born and raised in the Lost World, descended from good English stock of Earth. In addition to learning how to climb, jump, swim, and hunt, his father made him study the letters, literature that he and his wife and brought along with them on their original journey as well as the history of his allies home land. Despite the harsh environment he grew up in, Zandar is well educated and has often come up with creative solutions to problems others thought impossible to solve.

Even though he is allies with the People of the Sun, the human tribes of the Lost World his father united, Zandar still lives in the Land of Mists with his wife, Jana, and until last year his daughter Zarana, who began attending Claremont Academy. Zandar has visited Earth on several occasions, but considers the Lost World his true home and returns to it as soon as is possible.

The Jungle Lord is a forceful presence, a necessary survival trait on his home world. He tends to speak to animals much as he would to anyone else, and they respond to him in kind. Zandar is powerfully built and perfectly proportioned; he has brown eyes and shoulder-length black hair and rarely ever wears more than a hide shorts with matching boots and a necklace of dinosaur teeth.

Motivation ~Greed: Firefly wants to make as much money as he can, so he will pretty much take on any job if the money is right.


Background: Firefly first appeared in Freedom City, working as a mercenary and arsonist for hire. He was first stopped by the Raven II but managed to get away before the police could arrive to take him into custody. Firefly has went on to face the likes of Johnny Rocket, Foreshadow, Seeker, Manhunter and Grasshopper while continuing his criminal for hire ways and doesn't show any signs of stopping any time soon.

Motivation ~Responsibility: El Muerto feels that he was brought back to life to make a difference in the lives of others.

Undead: Because El Muerto is a reanimated corpse he can make some people uneasy with his presence.

Weakness: El Muerto is a reanimated corpse, and as such he can be affected by necromantic effects much easier than others.


Background: Pablo Valdez died in a crumbling building while trying to save a small girl during an earthquake. Sometime later he rose from his grave thanks to mysticism means of an unknown source, wandering around Arcadia trying to figure out what had happened to him. When Pablo saw a woman being attacked by a group of street thugs he stepped in, quickly making short work of the would-be criminals and left them for the police.

Pablo decided he'd been given a chance to help others by God, so he put together an outfit that was reminiscent of hanging victims and started calling himself El Muerto as he fought fight crime in the streets of Arcadia.
