Dang, Prodigy Duck, that's a nice neat continuity for the Spaceknights and Dire Wraiths. That always confuses me. ;)

I imagine the confusion came because Rom was a toy license that Marvel got the rights to use. The comic became really popular, so they made it part of actual Marvel continuity, forcing them to jam things together that were not initially intended to merge.

I do my best to include these extra ideas. Even though I never read the Rom comic, I think the concept is pretty cool and deserved a new look.

I read Rom as a little Thorpacolypse and pretty much forgot about until they introduced the spaceknight for The Annihilators. I find it interesting that Marvel lost the rights to Rom himself, but not the spaceknights so they don't actually mention him by name anymore.

I liked Rom as well and was pretty fond of the Galadorian Space Knights, though it was definitely noticeable when the series began to run out of steam.

There's only so long one can face the same enemy over and over again.

As much as I used to love shows like GIJoe and Transformers, it is pretty much the same. The Decepticons or Cobra does a thing. The Autobots or Joes fight them over the thing. Credits. They need to learn to keep things fresh.

Indeed. Congrats Prodigy.

Really, this is something that should have been done back in second edition.
