Extra's

Postby Stule Brown » Fri Jul 22, 2005 10:59 am

Hey,

I just wanted to ask this for clarification.

This should be the correct way to write up this power.

Energy Blast +10 (2pp)
Extra: Area (1pp)
Power Stunt: Dual Damage (+2)
Flaw: Full Effect,
Cost: 2+2/22

Now, is it possible to add one more Flaw to bring the Costs of the power to 1+2/12.

Energy Blast +10 (2pp)
Extra: Area (1pp)
PS: Dual Damage (+2)
Flaw: Full Effect, Tiring,
C: 1+2/22

Or is the minimum a power and extra can cost is one each?

I read that a power must costs one power point.

What about the extra's?

Can a player stack enough Flaws on a given power to bring the over all power costs down to a 1 pt total even if he has 3-4 Extra's?

Sorry to bug you guys about this, but my players are crafty.

Yes

BUT! Any flaws applied to the whole power must affect the whole power.
it's normally not a problem with instant powers but be very watchful of very complex builds that involve multiple durations and effects.

Oh, and by the way, I don't use drawbacks in my game, just complications.

Sounds good to me

looks fine to me

The complex builds thing is sort of a pain, yes. Generally, I try to restrict combined powers to having at least the same duration as the base power. YOu can have a continuous linked to a sustained for instance, but not a sustained linked to a continuous. Unless you can give me a really good reason... :)

As with everything else in M&M, its negotiable.
