looking for maps of a really big mansion

Postby Shadowdragon » Fri Aug 11, 2006 1:34 pm

For an upcoming adventure I need maps for a really big mansion with lots and lots of rooms. Something that includes the cellar, attic, immediate grounds, etc. would be great. I've done a quick search on google but the maps I get usually only include the main floors. Does anyone know where I can get a complete set of maps for an entire mansion, top to bottom?

I'm not very good at making maps, and the software I have to make maps is crude and out of date. That's why I asked for existing maps. If you're any good at making maps how about whipping up some for a large mansion with lots of rooms, a cellar, and an attic?

Nice mansion here, complete with much of the grounds, photos, floorplans (page 5) elevations (page 6)

Describes the basement but doesn't map it, unfortunately. But basement rooms can be simple rectangles to show rooms and coridoors.

There are some demolition Photos, so you can even show your players the aftermath of their heroic wall-shattering battles on the place ;)

"Here's the first in a series of game aids suitable for use with GURPS and any other roleplaying game. This set includes 8 sheets depicting a huge old ouse perfect for your next chilling scenario. One side has 1" hexes, the other 1" squares . . . so it will work for any system!"

I have it around here someplace. It's a 4-5 level house with sub-basement, balconied main hall, kitchens, 5-6 bedrooms, a tower. The maps include a two level stablehouse/garage and a gazebo. In 1" squares, the scale is a little off (GURPS hexes are 1" = 3 ft) but other than that it's really neat.

That is really some great stuff and it is free for Masterminds who are on a budget! :o
