I'm comfortable with orpheus being at 8, because like just about everyone else, he comes across as more competant than dr. venture (after all, he did get into and survive a very large supervillain brawl)

:arrow: An NYPD chopper pilot, Derek Maza thought he hit paydirt when billionaire mogul David Xanatos offered him a job as his personal pilot and bodyguard, despite the misgivings of his sister Elisa. and, for some time, it was a pretty sweet gig. that's when it all went to hell, as a seemingly routine inspection at Gen-U-Tech resulted in dereks very painful and involuntary transformation into a winged electric catbeast, and only later finding out that was exactly what xanatos had planned for him from the start. suffice it to say, he cut his ties then and there, and has since found himself company (and perhaps love) in his fellow mutates, as well as becoming the reluctant steward of new york's disposessed and homeless. on the plus side, unlike so many other mutant freaks, his family still loves and respects him, despite his new form
