Well... not anymore. But I still fondly remember the Moonie who used to wear a green dress that had a V neck so low, if she coughed, you might be able to see whether she was completely hairless of not...

Uh...Moonie doesn't really do it for me...

She does manage to get everyone she works with to hate her, though.

As long as Moonie doesn't talk too much, and has her classic dress... she's fine. It's when she starts talking when I keep begging for Valkyrie to open up some Asgardian Pimp Hand on her. (It's no wonder she snuggles up to Drax the Destroyer.)

You're always welcome. I just realized how dang many of those Marvel characters have a telepathy/telekinesis powers-set.

Help! I’m stuck!

Mystique
Raven Darkholme

Power Level: 10 (155pp)

Abilities: STR: 14 (+2), DEX: 16 (+3), CON: 16 (+3), INT: 18 (+4), WIS: 16 (+3), CHA: 16 (+3)

Skills: Acrobatics 8 (+11), Bluff 12 (+15), Disable Device 4 (+8), Gather Information 8 (+11), Knowledge [Tactics] 8 (+12), Languages 10 (Czech, German, Portuguese, Swedish, Spanish, 5 others; base: English), Notice 4 (+7), Pilot 8 (+11), Search 6 (+10), Sense Motive 8 (+11), Stealth 8 (+11)

Feats: Assessment, Attack Focus [Ranged] 2, Contacts, Defensive Roll 2, Equipment 2, Precise Shot, Quick Draw, Sneak Attack 2, Well-Informed

Powers:
Morph 8 (any humanoid; Power Feat: Precise; 17pp)
Shapeshift 2 (16pp)

Equipment: Blaster pistol (10ep)

Combat: Attack +10 / +12 (Ranged); Damage +2 (Unarmed) / +5 (Blaster pistol) // +3 (Sneak Attack); Defense +10 (+5 flat-footed); Initiative +2

Saves: Toughness +5 (+3 flat-footed), Fortitude +7, Reflex +7, Will +7

Abilities 36 + Skills 21 (84 ranks) + Feats 13 + Powers 33 + Combat 40 + Saves 12 – Drawbacks 0 = Total 155

 Mystique’s powers have grown over the years, from her original ability to Morph to her current ability to Shapeshift, the limits of which are undefined. Mystique still primarily relies on Morph, with Shapeshift occasionally used to duplicate the traits of a mimic. Her Morph power is Precise to the point of being able to imitate retinal patterns, fingerprints, and even genetic structure. In addition, she uses Shapeshift to acquire Immunities and Regeneration and shuffle her physical ability scores on demand and has demonstrated rarer stunts on occasion such as assuming a two-dimensional form. The pool for Shapeshift is quite limited, however, which restricts her from truly fantastic uses.

 Mystique is the ultimate agent. She has an incredible skillset and a combat style that complements her powers. Mystique is often outfitted with a variety of high-tech equipment and devices, such as body armor, energy reflective costumes, and psionic scramblers. These can be represented by additional ranks of Equipment, Devices, or even the Gadgets power.

:!: Update 11/8/09 :!: Worked out some of the kinks in my original build. Mystique doesn’t need a full-fledged Shapeshift or even many ranks in it, instead having most of her ranks in Morph.

Clinton Francis “Clint” Barton

Power Level: 11 (140pp)

AP: Dazzle 6 [Flare Arrow] (Visual; 1pp)
AP: Obscure 6 (Visual; Extra: Independent [+0]; 1pp)
AP: Snare 6 [Net Arrow] (1pp)

Equipment:
Costume (2ep): Protection 2
Hearing aid (buys off Disability [Deaf] drawback; 3ep)

Combat: Attack +11 / +13 (Ranged) / +15 (Bow); Damage +4 (Unarmed) / +4 (Blast, Autofire, 19-20 Crit) / +4 (Blast, Explosion, 19-20 Crit) / +7 (Blast, 19-20 Crit); Defense +12 (+5 flat-footed); Initiative +8

Saves: Toughness +8 (+6 flat-footed), Fortitude +7, Reflex +10, Will +7

Drawbacks: Disability (Deaf; Common, Moderate; -3pp)

Abilities 38 + Skills 12 (48 ranks) + Feats 24 + Powers 14 + Combat 42 + Saves 14 – Drawbacks 3 = Total 140

Complications: Reputation (past crimes)

 Since Green Arrow was, IMHO, completely defiled by OYL, I decided to go ahead and stat up Hawkeye instead. He has nearly perfect aim and an array of trick arrows for every situation. In addition, Hawkeye has almost the opposite disability / compensation combination that Daredevil has; he’s nearly deaf but his eyesight is remarkably keen. Thus, his range increment for normal sight is 100 feet rather than 10 feet (a little overkill, but this progression is especially grainy). Hawkeye does have a hearing aid that compensates for his deafness. Hawkeye has constructed various unique trick arrows, but these are best relegated to power stunts instead of the Inventor feat, which is too broad for this sort of thing.

 Hawkeye’s bow and trick arrows are represented by a Device. The ranks in Variable Descriptor lets Hawkeye select from any technological descriptor for the damage and can be changed once per round as a free action, just like an alternate power. Clint can fire so quickly that he has the Autofire modifier with his custom bow, allowing him to hit multiple targets, although he does not get to apply much of his Strength bonus when doing so. If he’s using a specific trick arrow, then he loses the Autofire modifier but replaces it with another effect. Hawkeye can also apply the Ricochet feat to all of his bow attacks (a reflection his own skill and thus not a Power Feat) and the Homing feat (a boomerang attachment and considered part of the Device). I’ve only included some of the most common trick arrows in the array; others should be considered power stunts.

:!: Update 2/26/09 :!: Quick touch-up on Clint Barton as Hawkeye before I stat him out as Ronin. Primarily, I’ve condensed his array of trick arrows.

Not being up-to-date on comics, Mystique having Shapeshift instead of Morph was a bit of a shock at first, but it's nice to see that you didn't go overboard with her (apparently new) power set. Overall a very solid agent-type build.

And kudos on Hawkeye as well.

It would be interesting to see how Olly and Clint would fare if they competed against one another.

I think Mighty Blast is just a nomenclature difference; the Mighty is just applied multiple times under the UP format rather than have the Range extra pay a premium. However, other extras such as Penetrating, etc. pay the premium rather than adding ranks of Mighty. It's still a little confusing, sometimes.

If you've seen the recent Green Arrow, Ollie takes the fight easily since he suddenly and absurdly developed mastery with a sword and uses the entire city's resources on giant trick bow and arrows to take down...Deathstroke! What a travesty.

Yeah, Mystique started expanding her powers or how she uses them around 2001 with X-Men Forever. I'm still not sure I liked it, which was why I held off doing her till now...

Hrm, you're right. I should give him a few ranks in Bluff, then, I suppose. Then again, can a hero be really annoying without having Taunt?

I'm thinking back... thinking back... and most people just ignore Hawkeye's trash talk while he's busy outthinking and outfighting them.

Nah... he's cool as is.

Just because Ollie as a Swordsman is canonical doesn't mean you have to stat him that way. . . :D

It would be interesting to compare how Olly and Clint would compare. Perhaps you could run seperate fights for them, each taking on the same villain, and then compare results?
