Variable structures in Ultimate Power

Postby The Great Jefepato » Wed Aug 23, 2006 10:41 am

The sentence "No rank or bonus of the assumed form can be higher than your Shapeshift rank" should be removed in both descriptions of the power (per the guidelines for the Variable structure in Ultimate Power which lacks the restriction).

This ruling made me very happy, but I looked at the Variable structure in Ultimate Power (page 113) and it still has that restriction, including the text from the Mastermind's Manual explaining the restriction in detail.

Should it be assumed that no Variable structure has this restriction any more (subject to GM approval, as always)? Would this include Mimic, whose Ultimate Power description also still cites the restriction?

It should indeed. The statement was left in error.
