I've decided to do some builds from my current fave anime, Trigun! I hope the builds are as good as the show is. :D

Image

"Dominique: [Upon moving past Vash] You're naive. If I was so inclined.....I could have killed you three times. [buttons fall off his coat]
Vash: [After talking for her for a few seconds] By the way...If I was so inclined....during this little conversation...I could have groped you five times. [buttons fall off and shirt opens a little]."

Dominique the Cyclops
PL 10 (150pp)

Abilities: Str: 10 [+0], Dex: 18 [+4], Con: 14 [+2], Int: 12 [+1], Wis 14 [+2], Cha: 14 [+2]

Skills: Acrobatics +12 [8], Bluff +10 [4], Diplomacy +10 [4], Intimidate +12 [10], Notice +10 [7], Sense Motive +10 [7]

Feats: Accurate Attack, Acrobatic Bluff, All-Out Attack, Attack Focus (Ranged) 7, Attractive 1, Defensive Attack, Defensive Roll 5, Dodge Focus 8, Equipment 2, Evasion, Improved Aim, Improved Critical 1 (Pistol), Improved Initiative, Move-by Action, Power Attack, Precise Shot 1, Quick Draw 2, Sneak Attack 2, Uncanny Dodge [Hearing]

Powers:
Device 8: Hard to Lose - Demon's Eye
Restricted 2 (Dominique Only)
Traits
Paralyze 10 (Extras: No Save, Perception; Flaws: Concentration Check [-2]; Drawbacks: Power Loss [Opponent must be concentrating on her with at least one sense])
Super Senses 1 (Extended Vision 1)

Equipment: Heavy Pistol (8ep), Clothing (Protection 1, Subtle) (1ep)

Combat: Attack +6 (+7 Ranged); Defense 22 (12 flat-footed); Init +8

Saves: Toughness +8; Fortitude +7; Reflex +10; Will +8

Trade-Offs: -3 Save DC / +3 Attack, -2 Toughness / +2 Defense

Cost: Abilities 22 + Skills 10 (40 ranks) + Feats 39 + Powers 42 + Combat 20 + Saves 17 = 150

( Thanks to Grahf for an awesome Vash build which helped me model Dominique :D )

:!: I'm not exactly sure how No Save works on a power like Paralyze, since it's effects vary on how much you fail the save by. I'm taking it by that you suffer it's worst effects, which is how the power works. If anyone could tell me, it would be much appreciated. :D

Dominique is the only female born Gung Ho-Gun, and has a very interesting card up her sleeve to use in combat. It is a move that instantly paralyzes her opponent if they observe her with even one sense, allowing it to seem as though she moves at lightning fast speeds. It takes a very strong force of mind to beat this technique, DC 25 Concentration check to shut off all your senses to be immune to the technique. So it's a real wonder how Vash beat this technique

Little is explained of his character, though he exhibits extremely violent tendencies for the short time he has on screen. In fact he was itching to face Vash next, obviously overly confident, and even going so far as to question Legato as to why he didn't just send him and expressing the hope that he would get a reward for his kill. He wears a suit that resembles a sphere and contains control threads for deploying lethal spikes. Further manipulating these threads, Mine can hurl them towards an enemy. He tends to wiggle his fingers tightening and loosening these threads in a trigger happy fashion when he is excited or angry. His name comes from the fact that when he is completely inside his spherical shell, he resembles a naval mine.

"Rai-Dei: I would happily walk the path of carnade for the master of Bushido.
Vash: What?
Rai-Dei: I refer to what is only visible from the edge of the deathly abyss. I know you have seen it.
Vash: There's nother to see there. Only fear.
Rai-Dei: Even so, I also wish to experience that mental state!"

Rai-Dei is a samurai who seeks the knowledge learned only when facing death. He carries a sword, and is able to swing it with enough force to create a sonic blast. Later his sword reveals a concealed rifle in the sheath, and the blade can be fired from the hilt. When he appeared, the second Gung-Ho Gun, E.G. Mine was in the midst of a battle with Vash. Rai-Dei quickly 'relieved' Mine of his job, stabbing him through his chest. Throughout the battle in the anime he expresses anger in the fact that Vash is refusing to make his mark true and aim to kill, claiming he wanted "a real battle".

"Yes, we are here to make you suffer Vash, and my puppets will do just that...."

Leonov the Puppet Master
PL 10 (163pp)

Abilities: Str: 10 [+0], Dex: 10 [+0], Con: 10 [+0], Int: 20 [+5], Wis 20 [+5], Cha: 20 [+5]

Skills: Bluff +11 [6], Diplomacy +11 [6], Gather Information +11 [6], Intimidate +11 [6], KN (Behavioural Sciences) +17 [12], Notice +15 [10], Sense Motive +15 [10]

Feats: Defensive Roll 5, Equipment 20, Inspire 3, Master Plan, Startle

Powers:
Device 14: Hard to Lose - Puppeteer Orb & Strings
Power Feats: Restricted 2 (Leonov only)
Traits
Animate Objects 10 (Power Feats: Progression 6 [50 puppets]; Extras: Horde; Limited: Only His Puppets)
ESP 9 [4pp/rank]

Combat: Attack +3; Defense 16 (13 flat-footed); Init +0

Saves: Toughness +5; Fortitude +5; Reflex +10; Will +5

Cost: Abilities 30 + Skills 14 (56 ranks) + Feats 30 + Powers 56 + Combat 18 + Saves 15 = 163

:!: Leonov has many equipment points. Half are for his puppets, and the others are for any equipment his puppets might need.

In the anime, Leonov controls (probably via a small orb on strings) mannequin-like puppet creatures from a remote location. Some of these puppets are incredibly realistic, though those he deploys for fighting resemble unfinished dolls.

Dang, that Krillin build made me remember how absurdly powerful even the weakling characters were towards the end of the series.

Gray is famous for having nine lives; in other words, being indestructible. The anime version of Gray, possibly named so because of its high resistance to any sort of damage, is apparently an autonomous android not controlled by any outside force. It does not speak, and its breathing is heavy, every step it takes causes the ground to shake a bit.

Physically, Lupin is a man of average strength, but who can throw a surprisingly good punch. He is insanely flexible and fast, however, and his manual dexterity is quite simply cat-like in precision and quickness, honed from years of sneaking and stealing. He also possesses incredible skill in the art of disguise, able to impersonate pretty much anybody, even women. His skinny body enables him to easily impersonate heavier subjects by padding disguises, usually filling them with gadgets and surprises in the process. He can even imitate voices to perfection. His favorite disguise has always been impersonating Inspector Zenigata, which incenses Zenigata to no end.

Daisuke Jigen is Lupin's marksman. He can perform a 0.3-second quick-draw and his shooting has amazing accuracy. He prefers to conceal his eyes using his hat, as it gives him a more enigmatic appearance. In the second anime series, it is revealed that he uses a notch of the hat to aim. He is also proficient in the use of many different firearms, such as machine guns, sniper rifles, and even a PTRS Anti-Tank Rifle. His accuracy borders on the superhuman, literally never having missed a shot in the entirety of the series. He also feels quite naked without a gun: during an enemy attack in The Fuma Conspiracy, Jigen didn't have his Magnum on him and still instinctively reached for it, humorously shooting nothing into the air before realizing it was missing.

Goemon Ishikawa is the thirteenth generation of renegade samurai, beginning with the real-life historical figure Ishikawa Goemon. He is usually quiet and participates in Arsène Lupin III's exploits less frequently than Daisuke Jigen. While Goemon might be considered one of Lupin's friends, it starts off more of a professional relationship than friendship. By the second series, Goemon has developed a true loyalty to Lupin; but, he easily gets annoyed by Lupin's antics, and sometimes even directly opposes him when Lupin's jobs do not agree with his morals. However, he doesn't hesitate to help Lupin in serious situations, and readily assists him any time Lupin works for a just cause. Many theorize that Goemon associates with Lupin out of admiration for his profession, as Goemon's ancestor was a master thief himself. Goemon has a much more amicable relationship with Jigen. Goemon sees Jigen as a fellow honorable warrior, while Jigen sees Goemon as a trustworthy "foxhole buddy," and the two are frequently paired together during jobs.

He can control sand-worms with a high-frequency device he wears on his head. When he is found out, the Beast emerges and points his guns at Vash and the children. The anime never exactly gives a clear explanation as to what Zazie was. It can be theorized that Zazie was a malevolent entity that controlled the boy whenever it needed to, or he was in fact a much older man who only looked like a young boy.

:!: Thanks to grahf for Nicholas Wolfwood's Cross punisher build which helped me make this one

Chapel the Evergreen carries the parent version of Wolfwood's famous Cross Punisher (though Chapel's splits into twin machine guns). He dresses in dark green and has red goggles grafted to his face. He always carries a green apple in one hand.

:!: Well Caine comes in a little underpowered point-wise, just cause not that much us revealed about him in the anime.

A member of the Gung-Ho Guns invented for the anime, Caine is a mute, talented sniper who can cloak his body and utilizes a rifle many times longer than a normal rifle (it resembles a very long barrel gun, several meters long and covered). With it, Caine can hit foes from a few miles away. In the episode titled "Demon Eye" Caine can be seen relaxing in the sunset when the Gung-ho Guns are introduced.

A musician who is able to use his saxophone Sylvia to synchronize sound waves with pain, causing physical damage. He also is capable of neutralizing sounds by playing counter-frequencies on his saxophone. On a musical note, it is Midvalley's B Flat (the lowest note on a saxophone) that sends out the shock waves. He plays solos until he gets to the low range and then plays the B flats.
