 For those of us who remember Meta-4 Protonik is instantly recognizable as the setting’s iconic paragon-type hero. I placed his power level where I did by looking at Crooks (his evil self was at least this powerful), and comparing him against Freedom City’s Centurion. The result is someone just as tough as my Superman build, and a little less powerful than Centurion. I also added some things from the Freedom City 2.5 thread, I gave him space flight, and life support meaning he can serve the role of Silver Surfer in that universe if you perfer.

 She’s the brains of the operation so I gave her Master Plan. However with her intelligence she’s not going to give too big of an advantage to the rest of the clique. Duplication to the degree that The Other Woman has became VERY expensive in 2e. On the brighter side she can maintain up to 100 Duplicates at a time and have them exist continuously. Other Woman isn’t going to beat you in a fair fight. Instead she’s going to sneak up on you, either using true stealth or by disguising a duplicate as someone else and hitting you when you least expect it.

Toy Boy was the villain of our latest Project 615 mission. After getting out of Prison a year ago he started selling Robotic technology and locked himself in his estate where he was waited on by an army of Androids that look like full size Barbie dolls. The adventure itself took place when he hacked into the AEGIS mainframe and partially copied a top secret file marked "Patriot". At the same time he also apparently hacked the cyber brain of a pilot who was able to network with and control multiple military helicopters. The crew from Project 615 disabled the pilot and the six helicopters he controlled. Meanwhile Natalia Stewart prevented the hacker from getting what he wanted and tracked him back to his home. There Project 615 infiltrated his house, destroyed 9 or so of his Barbie Droid maids only to discover that Lettam had downloaded his mind into a robotic body that looked like an oversized GI Joe.

 Wallflower is the group’s wild card. Her Utility backpack gives her a wide range of options, while her Phase belt gives her a nice attack (especially if she phases up from a floor and catches a foe by surprise. She’s the weakest of the group, but at the same time she’s the most useful ^_^. If properly used she’ll be the one that really makes the group a danger in a large battle. She could end up healing an ailing teammate, or paralyze the team’s quickest character. Phew no more Clique for me.

Oh good lord the Atomic Brain is even more of a monster in second edition than he was in first. :) I like it. So how many of the Green Ronin characters will you be doing updates for?

I figure Pixie and Other Woman need a tweak especially.

That didn't really answer my question. Who else from first edition will you be updating to second edition?

The way you set up Boy Toy, he can't use his rockets while moving. If he did, they'd be a dynamic AP [which allows both movement AND blast].

Oh, I dont know about that Snowman. Imagine half a dozen Other Women holding a planning session, with her dupilcates using Aid Another, to come up with a rockin' plan. That can get rather nasty.

Just so people don't get nasty thoughts and cheese this thought out, I personally would rule that all involved would need to have the Master Plan feat to Aid the one making the roll (which all the Other Women would have being duplicates).

Just some random thoughts.

I like the Gimmick and Marathon builds, but the Pugilist build is just perfection. Wow!

Can't wait to see what other M&M 'iconics' you pull out. Cyclone or Lady Hex, perhaps?

Absorbing Man

 Absorbing Man proved an interesting build. He essentially has the brainpower of a typical Spiderman villain (Read: Rivaling Mayonnaise) but enough power to tangle with the likes of Thor and The Hulk. For Sake of ease I’ve pre calculated most of the forms that you’re likely to see Absorbing Man in. I’ve used solid as his default as that’s what he uses most often. However if he’s absorbing odd materials like Adamantium, or space Ore feel free to be creative. A nice guideline is that for super strong materials give him more ranks of impervious protection, even if requires extra effort. I also purposefully left super strength off of his list if only because I wanted to give you a few extra points to play around with depending on which item he’s absorbing.

 Energy Form [Insubstantial 3, Strike 12 (Extras: Sustained Duration, Aura), Flight 1]

 Liquid Form [Insubstantial 1, Suffocate 17, Concealment 2 (Limited to Water [-1]), Swimming 5, Elongation 4]

 Gaseous Form [Flight 3, Insubstantial 2, Suffocate 17]

 Particulate [Insubstantial 1, Strike 17, Super Movement 1 (Slithering), Elongation 4, Blast 10]

 I only gave the above for completeness Absorbing man is usually too dumb to take a form other than solid. With Involuntary transformation he has to adopt the consistency of anything that he’s in contact with for more than a round. It usually ends with him in a form he doesn’t want. Most Forms he takes will have a major vulnerability. That changes with the form however. If he turns to glass Physical Damage will evoke that drawback. If he’s made of electricity water will short him out. If he turns into sand he can be vacuumed up. And as he can’t shift forms with exceptional speed the hero has a chance to find the weakness of a given form and use it. But as a rule most solid forms will have harder to exploit weaknesses. Ultimately Absorbing man is a very one-dimensional foe. He likes using his Solid Alternate form and beating you into submission, but aside from that his options are limited.

:!: Updated: :!:
Well I switched Alt Form for Object mimicry. It turned out to be so much more expensive than my original to do the exact same thing that he actually came in at the normal tally for his PL.

Adam X

PL:
10 (150pp)

Abilities: STR: 20 (+5) DEX: 20 (+5) CON: 20 (+5) INT: 10 (+0) WIS: 10 (+0) CHA: 12 (+1)

Skills: Acrobatics 8 (+13), Bluff 12 (+13), Climb 8 (+13), Concentration 8 (+8), Diplomacy 6 (+7), Intimidate 10 (+11), Knowledge [Civics] 4 (+4), Notice 8 (+8), Sense Motive 8 (+8), Stealth 8 (+13)

Feats: Accurate Attack, Attack Specialization [Blades] (3), Benefit [Status], Defensive Attack, Dodge Focus (6), Equipment (3), Evasion, Improved Block, Improved Disarm, Improved Initiative (2), Power Attack, Takedown Attack

Powers: Mental Blast 10 (Extra: Alternate Save – Fortitude [+0], Duration - Concentration [+1]; Flaws: Only on foes with an injured status [-1]; 40pp)

Combat: Attack +6 (+12 w/ Blades) [Unarmed +5, Swords +8; 19-20 Crit] Defense 22 (13 flat-footed) Init +13

Saves: Toughness +8 (8 flat-footed) Fortitude +6 Reflex +9 Will +6

Equipment: Twin Blades [+3 Damage; Auto-Fire; Mighty; Improved Critical; 8ep], Body Armor [+3 Protection; 3ep], 4 ep extra

Abilities 32 + Skills 20 (80 Ranks) + Feats 22 + Powers 40 + Combat 24 + Saves 12 – Drawbacks 0 = 150pp

 Here’s a nasty bugger, Adam X

 Without his power he’d be little more than a tough guy with a sword, but his power is where he really earns his keep.

 After a foe is suffering from an injured status he can provoke a fortitude save to do damage. This represents him setting a foe’s blood on fire.

 Once he’s done that he can use his concentration skill to maintain that. If he’s on the ropes during a fight then he’ll move away from a foe relying on the power’s perception range to help him. If he wants to end a fight quickly he’ll maintain it as a move action and attack with his swords once again.

 His bladed body armor makes it harder to stay safe around him anyone who strikes him in melee risks cutting themselves open and exposing themselves to his power.

 When I first set off to do Angel/Archangel I came to one conclusion. Warren has a really weak power. But the more I read the more I realized his entire physiology had adapted to the fact he had wings.

 As a result he has a high degree of strength (enough to lift twice his own weight), a great deal of endurance (for long flight), and very keen eyesight.

 Also with his money and power he’s something of a poster Child for the mutant community. That’s why he’s loaded up with social skills.

 Also note the environmental adaptation to high altitude conditions. He doesn’t have to worry about lack of oxygen or the effect of wind on his eyes.

 Yep, I know I avoided the secondary healing mutation because like many such mutations. They’re stupid and make no sense.

:!: Update: 3/14/06 :!:

I beefed up Arch Angel. The result is an increase to his strength, toughness, and Charisma. He's also much harder to hit now in the air.

I also added a statblock for Metal Winged version of Archangel
