:arrow: Like the other Runaways, Nico comes out inexpensive due to her limited experience, but the potential is very apparent, such that a PL10/150pp build would be easy enough to extrapolate. With the Staff of One, Nico can cast any spell of up to 30pp, limited by her PL caps. She needs to shed her blood in order to produce the staff from her body, which takes a full round action.

:!: Update 9/13/07 :!: The Staff of One is now appropriately described with Weapon Summoning. Also added in a Strike power triggered when the staff pops out of her chest.

I like the Runaways too, but I usually wait until the characters have a bit more source material for me to draw upon.

Yeah, I remember that I wanted to build Goku and SSJ Goku. Well, I did put together an Excel sheet detailing what I wanted his stats to be at various points in the anime, so it's a matter of going through and actually doing the builds. I promise to go back and work on them.


Can I see this sheet or are you going to show it in one of your future Design Diaries.

You are the man! I love the Runaways, great stuff. I recently worked on stat-ing the staff of one as well. You got to love it, what a great item.

Excellent work, I will be monitoring you from the Fiz-cave as well.

I'm still geeking out over that staff. You don't even know, you just made my day. Emoticon time.

Great go at! Did anybody else notice that the president outside of his mecha looks a lot like Michael Douglas, while the vice president looks suspiciously like Dennis Miller? I think the Japanese are trying to send us a message. They want Dennis Miller and Michael Douglas to fight, in giant mecha!

Maybe. I worked essentially on converting DBZ power levels from the scouters to M&M PLs, so I have an idea how powerful I want the various characters. It's just a big Excel file along with my other benchmarks.

I'd pay to see anyone beat up Dennis Miller. He single-handedly ruined Monday Night Football for me when he was on as guest commentator/comic relief (not that Kornheiser and Theismann are any better).

Still, not my best build, but the trailers I did see made me want to play that game now, if only for the cheesy dialogue. :D

:arrow: This is Son Goku right at the beginning of Dragonball Z. He is the most powerful fighter on Earth, but still a small fry compared to the cosmic foes he will face throughout the rest of the series. He no longer has his Saiyan tail and without it, cannot transform into an Oozaru form.

:arrow: Goku has a complement of superhuman abilities, including strength and speed. He has Dodge Focus as his base power in his Super-Speed array, but can choose to use his Zanzouken to produce duplicate shadow images instead. Goku’s signature attack is his Kamehameha, but he can Power Stunt more esoteric energy attacks like Taiyouken (a visual Dazzle).

:arrow: Goku can detect the ki energy of living creatures, including their approximate power levels. As an unofficial reference, I have his sentou-ryoku, or combat ability, as about 1000 at this point when fully powered. It is usually suppressed at about 400 when he is not in combat.

:arrow: Though he can fly of his own volition now, Goku still has his flying cloud, Kintoun. He is able to call Kintoun to his aid verbally, making this trait more appropriately Summon Minion.
