I really like your Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Glad to see you could find some inspiration for famine from Time of Vengeance. I love that adventure. I also like your Maes Hughes build; I see you made it taking influence from Agents of Freedom. I've never played the game, but your Phoenix Wright build wants to make me play a heroic lawyer.
I have some more game findings. The characters had a rematch with Volcana and a couple of melee tanks of my own design. While she was powerful offensively. I found that I often had to use GM fiat to keep her going. I predicted that if she got stunned, it would be over. And when I finally relented and she did get stunned, her Concentration was not good enough to give her better than a remote chance of being able to maintain her force field. The group easily finished her off the next round. Thing that I came away with is that if she is ever stunned, she is doomed, and she needs some meatshields to protect her in combat.

Much as I love your builds, I gotta make a little nitpick on the Phoenix Wright one...
You gave Mister Wright the skill "Knowledge: Civics." In the game, Phoenix at one point specifically says in regards to the law books in his office "I've never read any. They're too challenging for me."
I'm not sure Phoenix should have -any- skill in Knowledge: Civics, just because it seems like Phoenix is a lawyer by virtue of his wonderfully sexy teacher alone - I don't think Phoenix is really a -lawyer-. Just a persuasive guy with a career in the field and a good head.
Not to mention a ton of luck.
Otherwise, 'sall good. I wonder how your Mister Phoenix would fare against mine.

The Ace Attorney himself, Phoenix is meant to be equal parts lawyer and CSI, good enough that he can collect enough evidence to prove his client's innocence in 3 days.
I also gave him luck, since there are times where as good as phoenix is, he sometimes needs a deus ex machina
i listed edgeworth and Von Karma as rivals due to the fact that they never specificly wish Pheonix harm, but instead are the guys Pheonix really hopes he doesn't see at the Prosecution table
EDIT: Mixed some skills around, so that Phoenix can rely more on gathered evidence (investigate) than legal mumbo jumbo. he still gets some ranks of civics though, since he had to meet the requirements to get his law Liscence inthe first place

well, with +4 ranks, it's a good compromise. he knows enough to get his degree, but the really dedicated books just go right over his head. your startle/fearsome's a great way to model Objection, by the way. I just figured Phoenix gets high initiative and delays his action in order to get the right moment to objectkerianvalentine wrote:Cool. Sorry for that almost inconsequential nitpick; you know a lot more about builds than I do, and you've been here longer.
Plus it's your interpretation.
^_^ Keep it up.
your gunslinger diary has also given me some ideas...
