Nice take on how the weapons of Bleach work, the Spiritual feat seems like it should allow you to select either Wisdom or Charisma as the effective score. IMO that is.

The Kerevision clicks on, the Announcer sitting down, the Master's arms folded and crossed on the Announcer's head as the Master's chin rests on them.

"Originally, the text of the feat stated that either could be used. However, upon reflection, many Bleach characters - especially Ichigo - have very poor Wisdom scores, but very high damage and spiritual power. The feat can be modified either way."

The Master holds up two fingers in a V-For-Victory pose, grinning, as the Announcer, still supporting the Master's arms, reaches for the remote and clicks off your Kerevision.

The Master grins and sits down in the Announcer's chair - the old man is nowhere to be seen. The white-haired young man folds his hands in his lap, staring at the camera.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages! We here at Kerevision are proud to bring to you the launch of a Kerevision original program. Capitalizing on the success of such esoteric martial arts shows as Naruto and Avatar: The Last Airbender, we here at Kerevision have devised a new, Wuxia-inspired, action-intense, deep, compelling, dramatic Kerevision show..."

The screen cuts to the title sequence. A young man in a blue Gi is being rushed by a group of enemies, all with long katanas. It looks hopeless, but at the last minute, he flows like water, his strikes hitting each opponent squarely in the body as they hit him. He dusts off his palms.

A woman in a red Gi is charging another group of faceless men with swords, a claw-set attached to each wrists, cutting through them all with savage intensity. A few men manage to dodge, but somehow, their chests burst into flame in long scars.

A woman in a green Gi is standing still against a tree. Men in armor are charging through, and she vanishes into the tree, dashing out of the nearby trees, criscrossing the enemies with a pair of curved blades before diving into other tree-trunks.

A man in a brown Gi looks up from his meditation to see a large man in front of him. An axe flies down towards his head, and the brown-Gi'd man slams his hands into the sides of it. The axehead explodes, and the large man falls backwards as the brown-Gi'd fellow retracts both hands after what appears to be a double-punch.

A woman in a white Gi stands in a clearing, grass blowing in the wind. Samurai come charging up, and her eyes open. It's at that moment that you realize she's blind. She leaps up, an insane jump, and runs across the heads of each man. The woman jumps off them and flings a single kunai into the backmost one - it penetrates through all of them, flying out. She makes a motion, and the string it's attached to goes taut. The dagger hurls back into her hand.

All five of them stand in front of a mountain. A black shadow with gleaming red eyes sits on top of it, and all five of the Gi-wearing folks stare upwards. The title flares across the screen:

Ryujutsu: Disciples of the Dragon Arts.

The title sequence cuts, and the Master is sitting closer to the Kerevision screen, grinning even wider.

"Doesn't it just give you chills? Stay tuned for some of the character biographies from our new show, and don't forget to keep an eye out for the shows themselves! Bye-bye now!"

He waves and clicks off the screen.

The Kerevision clicks on, the Master sitting there.

"Well then, as a special treat, just for you, let me show you a few clips of the first of the Disciples...the Disciple of Suiryujutsu - that is, the Water Dragon Style! His name is Oki Hotaru."

The screen changes to the image of the blue-Gi'd man. His eyes are a deep blue, the same color as his gi, and his hair is short and swept backwards, like waves in a stormy sea. An announcer - but not The Announcer - begins a voiceover.

"Suiryujutsu no Hotaru - Hotaru of the Water Dragon Style. Skilled in the neutral art of counterattacks, good at battling masses of enemies or single combat. A former dancer and acrobat. His hobbies are nonexistant, but he was once interested in detective work."

Suiryujutsu no Oki Hotaru (Hotaru Oki, Water Dragon Disciple)

The wind sweeps Hotaru's blue Gi, and the camera, around to view the cliff overlooking the waves. An old man can be heard voicing over the image.

"The essence of Suiryujutsu is the Flow. Flowing in life, flowing in motion, flowing in combat. One must follow that Flow wherever it may lead, taking no action until the course has been determined. One may stand as still as a pond one moment, and the next strike as strong as a raging river."

The image fades, and the Master takes the forefront, adjusting the camera with his hand to point at him.

"What the Water Dragon Master means is, Hotaru's style relies around counterattacking. He doesn't dodge - he redirects the attack and takes advantage of that opening, using the least effort to achieve the maximum effect."

The Master claps his hands.

"Pretty cool, huh?!"

With that, the screen flicks back to Hotaru, still standing on the cliff. Music - probably his theme - is playing, and it reminds you of running water. Soothing, but not complacent.

The image changes from that of Oki Hotaru to the young woman in the red Gi. She's not wearing her claws, but she is attacking a training dummy furiously. Her hair is as orange as flame, and despite the sweat glistening on her brow, her determination remains, gold eyes sparkling. An older woman's voice starts the voiceover.

"Hiryujutsu no Sakura Nariko - Nariko of the Fire Dragon Style. A hotheaded former geisha, Nariko was unable to accept the dominance of men and rebelled. She found her way to the Hiryu Temple, and I trained her in the deadly Fire Dragon's art."

Hiryujustu no Sakura Nariko (Nariko Sakura, Fire Dragon Disciple)

Initiative/Defense: +11/21
Saves: FORT +4, REF +3, WILL +5, TOUGH +9
Attack/Damage: +8/+4 (+9 Strike, +10 Burst Strike)

The woman starts speaking again as the camera turns around, panning to give a full view of Nariko.

"Hiryujutsu is the power of the Fire Dragon, and as such, it is the essence of speed and consumption. A strike from a Hiryujutsu Disciple is laced with gunpowder, which ignites as the claws set a spark across the enemy - thus setting them aflame. Even those who dodge can be caught in the aftermath, but even worse is the ultimate attack - the Disciple scatters gunpowder about the area, spinning around and striking the claws together, to create a whirlwind flame. This is the Hiryujutsu Tsujikaze."

The screen continues her fighting, and Nariko's theme music starts playing. It's loud, and fast, and definitely catchy - it reminds you of fire in the same way that she does.

The forest clearing on the screen is lit only by the sun peeking through the trees. The girl in the green Gi, with eyes as perfectly emerald as her surroundings, black hair covering one side of her face. She kneels down to run her finger over a flower, and a man's voice echoes in the voice-over.

"Moriryujutsu no Midori Haruko - Haruko Midori of the Forest Dragon Style. Haruko is the daughter of a shrine priestess, exiled from her village due to unknown means. I found her wandering in my forest and taught her the Moriryujutsu. She enjoys gathering herbs, and is a skilled medicine girl."

Dokumori 5 (Poison Dart) [Selective Burst Paralyze]

Initiative/Defense: +5/22
Saves: FORT +1, REF +5, WILL +5, TOUGH +6
Attack/Damage: +5/+3

The camera pans around Haruko, sweeping in close to her smiling face. She's very pretty, and seems so fragile...

"Moriryujutsu is the art of the Forest Dragon. The forest is peaceful, soothing, deep, but can be dark and confusing, fearsome and scary. Yuurin, the Deep Forest, is the first technique of Moriryujutsu - the art of obscuring the vision with the leaves of the deepest forest. The second art, Shinrin'yoku, the Forest Healing, allows the wielder to soothe the wounds with balms found in the woodlands, healing the body and the soul. Rindou, the third art, allows the master of Moriryujutsu to walk through the forest using the hidden paths of the wood and their roots, becoming one with the forest for a short time. The final art, Dokumori, uses the poisons of the forest to freeze the opponents in place, scattering dust in a deadly motion."

The camera zooms back out as Haruko stands, her green Gi falling about her feet gracefully. She walks forward and vanishes into the tree. The camera zooms upwards, and the girl is seen standing on the top of a tall crown of leaves, staring over the massive forest. Her music plays, soothing and deep, reminding you of leaves flying in the wind.

The field is once more visible, the girl in white standing in it. She's as wispy as the wind itself, her arms long, her hair long, her legs long, her whole body thin and pale. Her hair is long and black, and her eyes are a milky white, signifying her blindness. A clear, crisp woman's voice provides the voice-over.

"Kazeryujutsu no Hoshiko Kimi - Kimi Hoshiko of the Wind Dragon Art. A dancer who once worked with Oki Hotaru, Kimi wandered about for a time before losing her sight in a fierce fire. I took her in and taught her how to see without seeing - how to hear things from far away, and how to kill as swiftly and as silently as the wind itself."

Kazeryujutsu no Hoshiko Kimi (Kimi Hoshiko, Wind Dragon Disciple)

PL 10/PP 150
Attributes: STR 10, DEX 24, CON 14, INT 18, WIS 20, CHA 20

Skills:
Acrobatics 12+7 = 19

Junbuu 2 (Favorable Wind) [Air Walking]
Kyoufuu 2 (Strong Wind) [Speed]
Aori (Gust) 6 [Extended Reach 4 Penetrating Strike]

Initiative/Defense: +11/24
Saves: FORT +2, REF +7, WILL +5, TOUGH +6
Attack/Damage: +10/+0 [+6 Aori]

The camera swirls around her, getting a shot of every angle, as she dances in the wind, her Gi swirling and her hair swinging every which way. The voice-over begins again.

"Kazeryujutsu, the art of the Wind Dragon, first requires that one learn the Hyuuhyuu - the Sound of the Wind. With the Sound of the Wind, no opponent can surprise a Kazeryujutsu Disciple, for the wind itself whispers their location as you listen for the breaks in its everpresent sweeping. Next comes the Junbuu, the art of walking with the wind, and one learns to let the wind carry her as it will, moving to the rhythm with ease. Then, the Kyoufuu, the Strong Wind, to allow the Disciple to move not only with the wind but with the speed of the wind itself. Finally, the Aori, the Gust - the art of wielding stringed kunai to strike at the weakest points of the opponent before bringing it back to your hand. These are the techniques of the Kazeryujutsu."

The wind-like music, whipping through tubes and punctuated with wind chimes, is haunting and beautiful - a perfect compliment to the dancing girl and her deadly strikes.

The brown-Gi'd man is sitting cross-legged in the middle of a rocky clearing. He's clearly meditating. A moment later, his eyes flick open, and he slams both hands into the ground - the rocks crack and shatter in a faultline around him. Satisfied, he folds his hands back together and returns to his silent meditation. His skin is scarred from countless battles, and his brown eyes, for the moment they can be seen, are as deep and mysterious as the earth beneath his feet. His hair is spiked on the top, and a loose ponytail hangs behind him, like a cliff with spiked rocks atop it. A very deep voice begins the narrative.

"Gansekiryujutsu no Yama Daisuke - Daisuke Yama of the Rock Dragon Art. A former boxer, Daisuke sought the ultimate techniques of hand-to-hand fighting and taking punches. He found them at the Gansekiryu Temple, where I taught him to take blows and deliver them with infinite force. He also discovered stability and peace, becoming a bedrock for the other Disciples and at peace with himself."

Gansekiryujutsu no Yama Daisuke (Daisuke Yama, Rock Dragon Disciple)

PL 10/PP 150
Attributes: STR 32, DEX 10, CON 28, INT 14, WIS 20, CHA 18

Climb 8+7 = 15
Concentration 8+5 = 13

Sense Motive 8+5 = 13
Sense Motive 12+5 = 17
Survival 12+5 = 17

Feats:
All-Out Attack, Ambidexterity, Chokehold, Diehard, Fearless, Improved Block 3, Improved Grab, Improved Pin, Improved Sunder, Interpose, Power Attack, Startle, Weapon Break

Powers:
Banjaku 5 (Huge Rock) [Super-Strength, A.P.: Groundstrike 5]
Daibanjaku 6 (Rock-Solid) [Impervious Protection]
Kyogan 5 (Crag) [Shield]
Gantou 4 (Top Of A Large Rock) [Innate Permanent Growth]
Daishinsai 3 (Massive Earthquake) [Mighty Burst Strike]
Bidou (Tremorsense)

Initiative/Defense: +0/15
Saves: FORT +9, REF +0, WILL +6, TOUGH +15 (6 Impervious)
Attack/Damage: +5/+11 (+14 Strike)

Daisuke stands up and walks over to a rock, hefting it over his head. He moves over with it to the cliff, sets the boulder down, and perches himself on top of it, balancing in a cross-legged motion as the voice-over begins again.

"Gankeryujutsu begins with the body. One trains one's strength until one can lift the rock with the ease of a giant, learning the art of Banjaku first. After gaining the strength of Banjaku, the Disciple moves to the Daibanjaku, training one's body to become as strong as the rock - unyielding, unmoving, incredible. The Kyogan, the art of becoming as the crag, is next, becoming as the Earth and learning to hide between the rocks themselves to avoid attacks. Next comes the Gantou, the size of rock, for as the strength and toughness grow, so too does the body itself. Then, the Daishinsai, the earthquake, to learn to make the ground shake with your blows. Finally, the Bidou, to listen to the Earth and become as one with its vibrations, to know the location of your opponents by their very footfalls."

The voice-over stops as Daisuke looks out over the sunset, and his theme song begins - slow and steady, dependable, rocky and deep.

The Master claps his hands together giddily.

"Good news, everyone!" he says, his voice a parody of Professor Farnsworth's, "I had an epiphany the prior evening, and thus, I can now run a pair of episodes of Naruto! And I'll start off with..."

The Master walks over, the camera following him, and crosses his arms, resting his chin on a picture. The picture starts moving, playing out the episode.

"Warning!" he chirps, "This episode may contain spoilers!"

The screen flickers and changes. It's moved to an episode before the timeskip of Naruto - the one where Rock Lee fights Kimimaro. He's standing, ready to attack, in all his Green Beast Glory.

Just in case you forgot, viewers, Training allows a character to use his or her Acrobatics ranks in place of Will Save or Sense Motive when trying to react to a Feint.

DVD Commentary:
Though Lee can use no Jutsus, he's still a very powerful and capable fighter. Lee's strength is nothing less than superhuman even before he raises the stakes by kicking in with the Eight Gates - when he hits the Eight Gates, though, Lee becomes something akin to a god. He can concentrate for as long as he likes on that jutsu and keep it going, but he risks ultimate damage as long as he does so.
Though he has no true Kawarimi no Jutsu, Lee does have an escape technique based around his speed. Most of his Taijutsu is wrapped up in his feats, like most Wuxia-inspired characters.

August 19, 2007: Lee's boost has been entirely warped into a massive sustained-duration Enhanced Attributes. The damage effect has been wiped off - I just don't feel like recalculating the cost after all that, really, but if you want to apply it, force him to make a TOUGH save after he stops focusing on it.

Also: HOLY CRAP does Lee get crazy now. He gets...I mean, jeez. Speed 9, Leaping 2, maxed-out Fortitude...sheesh.

Now Lee is a combat machine. He's also gotten two points of Luck wiped off and pushed into Takedown Attack, and he's lost Acrobatic Bluff in favor of Moving Bluff - when Lee tags his Gates, he gets insane, and it's almost impossible to follow him, making him a damn near god of feinting.

He's a scary ninja.

The Kerevision shifts back to the timeskipped Naruto episodes. This time, it's obviously a Naruto-centric piece - even moreso than the norm.

DVD Commentary:
Naruto after the timeskip is a much more capable ninja than he ever was before. His Kagebunshin no Jutsu is still the basis of every technique he has, including Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Jutsu - if the 'real' Naruto dies from an attack, he becomes another Duplicate and that one was actually a Shadow Clone), his Rasengan (the Corrosion - he uses another Clone to form it beforehand)...even his Blasts sometimes use his Kagebunshin, by morphing one into an object and throwing them at someone.
The Nine-Tails Chakra works in a very special way, as well. Normally, Naruto runs off his own power, which fades (as it must) as he burns it. However, the Nine-Tails Chakra allows him to boost that original Chakra up to 5 ranks higher than normal for a Sustained Duration or until the Nine-Tails Chakra burns out on its own. He can of course call up more Nine-Tails Chakra the next round, but this is a much more stable way of working the Nine-Tails than what most people seem to use [the OMFG FULL NINE TAILS FORM, which is definitely out-of-line for players!].
Naruto also cannot summon Gamabunta, though he can summon a small group (up to 5) of Yakuza Toads.
The Nine-Tails regeneration is fairly self-explanitory.

The ending credits of Naruto roll, and the Master is sitting there behind them, smiling at the screen. His eyes open a bit, and it seems like they're red for a split second - his face seeming more evil - before you realize they're his normal color.
