:arrow: Tony is done. I think this manages to encompass Tony at his best, and his worst. Tony's Side Effect requires a bit of explaining. First off his body is rife with undifferentiated neural tissue, so his whole body acts like one big brain. It also gives him an improved ability to recover wounds for some reason. This makes him incredibly intelligent and able to multitask, but it also leaves in him in near constant agony. So he drinks in an effort to dull the pain, otherwise he'd never be able to function.
:arrow: In terms of drinking the alcohol helps to dull the pain, and really is what fuels his immunity, the thing is Tony probably drinks way more than he needs to, he's trying to dull more than physical pain. See among all of Tony's other problems he's dying to brain cancer, which for him means it affects his whole body. So he's being Iron Man in an effort to do some good in the world before he's gone.
:arrow: I'm going to say now as much as I hate that colour scheme, I'll give the artists credit for making Tony's armour look like a suit of armour. None of this skin tight protection stopping tank shells Ultimate Iron Man.

They're hard to lose at rank 5, and it should be only 18 ranks, I just have it listed incorrectly.

You know Beleriphon, you could get back to your (thread's) roots by statting the Asgardians. I feel you deserve that swift punishment for offending the 616 Thor costume, one of the finest examples of Kirby fun I have yet to see.(Despite it being as historically accurate as a Beatnik Moses.)

:arrow: Katzchen is up and running. She's a lower power level than the rest of the X-Men. This largely by virtue of her almost non-existent combat training. While she's perfectly capable of helping her team mates out, usually with a well timed phase effect, she relies entirely on getting the drop on somebody to deal any damage. That said it shouldn't be too hard given that she can just drop in to the ground and come up some place else.

I apologize for nothing, Thor has one of the dopiest costumes in Marvel. I don't mind the modern renditions of it because it at least looks liked moderately functional armour. The original spots with leotards look isn't a good one despite the fact that I think Jack Kirby's illustrations are some of the best around.

:arrow: This a basic Marvel Girl setup. Jean has no effective attack bonus, mainly because all of her powers are perception range effects. Limited by her power level they aren't overwhelmingly strong, but the fact that she can just hammer you with them over and over is just plain mean.
:arrow: EDIT: Man, you know I'm getting familiar with the system when I can post changes from work without any books. Anyhoo, I've just corrected a few numbers on the powers, and I've listed the point cost of each power to facilitate an easier understanding of dynamic power. When I get home I'll add Jean's involuntary transform power. It's going to be a great big boost combined with an increase in PL.
:arrow: I've added in the result of the Involuntary Transform. It basically turns Jean into a PL13 psychic powerhouse. She gets to add 80 points her already substainal 60 point array. This can be in the form more alternate powers, more points into the array itself or anything else that the Phoenix feels like doing. And as a bonus it takes nearly two and a half days to wear off if Jean doesn't transform back before that.

A quick note to your (beautiful) space marines: you should look at Agents of Freedom, and give them 20 PPs per Power Level instead of 15, and take away the PL cap on the equipment, as suggested in that book.

I don't think I have any space marines.

Oh, you mean the colonial marines from Aliens. I suppose that would work, but I think its more to have under equipped, barely functional marines against a highly mobile and deadly enemy.

remember with spidey; his attributes are boosted because of his powers. when he loses his spider powers he doesn't have ability scores like that. enhanced attributes are the way to go. spiderman's point spread should be absurdly lopsided on powers.

Except for his Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma Pete's abilities are derived entirely from Enhanced Traits. Unless you mean his Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma which I don't see being derived from his close encounter of the arachnid kind.

If you're referring to stuff like feats I suppose I could just dump those in with the other Enhanced Traits, but most of them become effectively useless without the benefit of his Enhanced Dexterity.

:arrow: Well Dazzler is up, and pretty dang fun. I figured that I'd boost up that array instead of a specific power. As it stands she can use any two powers at full strength but requires the extra points from the boost to get more than that going. The other option is to get more alternate powers, or dynamic powers. A good trick would be to boost herself a force field if she needs one, but limit to none sound based attacks (its cheesy yes, but I'd allow a player with this build to do so).
:arrow: Please note that her standard array is what she can gain from ambient noise. In total silence (should that be achieved) then Dazzler cannot use any of her powers.
:arrow: I hope everybody enjoyed by music themed names for Dazzler's powers. It took quite a while to actually come up with them. Here are some more suggestions for some alternate powers gained through the boost:
  • Mr Tambourine Man - Illusion
  • Good Vibrations - Sense dependent [sight] Emotion Control
  • Comfortably Numb - ablative force field
  • Paint It Black - Concealment
  • I Shot the Sheriff - Penetrating Blast
