Im not sure what it is about these characters, but there's definetly interest there for me. You get a feel for the setting from your builds, thats a definete.

History and Background
Aaron is the oldest son of the Bruise Patriarch. He lives in Chicago at the Bruise Citadel, often commanding strike teams on the offensive against the tolchocks, criminals and terrorists of the city. Aaron is good at heart; he doesn’t like killing though he has gotten used to it. The Bruise is a paramilitary unit that, while it works with the government almost exclusively, maintains it’s own autonomy. Aaron is a Bruise spokesman and often works to fight the negative publicity that they receive and stabilize their rivalry with the police.

These are some pretty cool characters. Especially like the "world" in which it is set. Pretty unique from the things that I have seen.

History and Background
Metatron was once a human, a scion of an ancient tribe. He became a black ocean angel because of his extreme grace. Now, enhanced almost beyond recognition, he is a leader of the angels, a general and war master. He has come to earth again to find and destroy both the Perihelion, and Aphelion, a man who is, in fact, Trevor Mourning. This is to prevent the attack of the Blight Rex. Metatron has recently become infatuated with the angel Muriel, a lesser being, this leads to him having a tense relationship with his only peer – Michael, who insists that the angels abstain and focus on their duty. Ariel the Red is another sticking point for the two heavenly generals, Michael despises her impure blood being used to sire new angels but Metatron has a certain affection for her, and prefers using her nocturnal soldiers in battle for their ferocity.

I'm counting his toughness at +8[3 Impervious] , where are the other 9 pts coming from ? Well i think i see the problem, your spending points on the save. You cannot do this, points can only be spent on Fort, Reflex, and willpower. Otherwise you need to purchase Protection, or Forcefield. Or the Toughness feat if allowed. [This feat gives you a +1 bonus to your toughness with can stack with Con bonus, and Protection. Though toughness is limited to usually no more than +3]

Otherwise, once again my friend, very awesome BUILDS! I don't even think my builds are this good. Haven't had much reply on my thread in a few weeks.

History and Background
Olivia Rochester holds a special position in the Bruise forces. She is a mostly human investigator and scout. Her ability to pass among normal humans relatively easily is not understated as many Bruise are towering monsters or psychotic in the extreme. Formerly tendered as a possible mate for Aaron Bruise by the Patriarch, Olivia wants nothing to do with the heir. The two of them have quickly become rivals in the field, using very different tactics to achieve their goals and just rubbing each other the wrong way. Olivia was born outside the citadel and lived a normal life until five years ago when her grandfather revealed on his deathbed that he had been given the gift of the Bruise life cycle. Olivia went to the citadel to investigate and was soon inducted into the organization full time by the pleased Bruise Patriarch. She encountered the Perihelion several times in her witch hunts through the city and has made an enemy of Arsenal as well. Tolchocks call her Dagger Bruise for her propensity for using blades.

Yeah it does seem that way. But i suppose thats why they have Protection as a power. No need to allow the purchase of it as a Save, when their is a power that already covers it.

Simikiel’s hands almost always drip blood from the cuts on his hands from holding the blade of admonition.

History and Background
Simikiel committed the greatest sin of doubt the black ocean angels remember when he refused to believe in the construction of the new ships. Legend has it that that is why he was not allowed to see the wonders of the space fleet. As the only remaining angel to know the whole story Simikiel tries to remain in the good graces of the others despite their near ostracizing of him.

Once, in a battle with the blight retainer Rosier, Simikiel overheard the true name of the Metatron, no other angels survived that encounter and now Simikiel is the only one who knows the word that will reduce the mighty Metatron to a mortal while it rings in the air.

Simikiel is a kind angel and has the responsibility of looking after the little ones this results in him knowing well nearly every child of note in the black ocean fleet, and therefore, almost every adult has some tie to this angel. He is solemn and often unhappy for while the troubles of others are his, his own problems bother no one else. Simikiel knows Ariel well and tries to help her get past the fact that she is not an angel even though he himself is something of an outsider among the black ocean angels as he cannot sing or see because of his doubts. Simikiel sees little worse than justice in his position though and it would be difficult to convince him otherwise.

Description: Ariel is a paragon of physical beauty and, as the virgin mother of the Black Ocean Angels it is expected. She is still young in this incarnation, with red-brown hair and a noble bearing inherited from the ancient virgin mothers, but she is a fey creature at heart. She feels somewhat cheated by her assumption of her role as it has limited her life to one of service which does not satisfy her.

Born the daughter of the king of the nocturnals, Ariel did not become Virgin Mother by choice. In fact, she loathes her position, for in the light of the Black Ocean Fleet no shadows exist to appease her need for the darkness. Ariel dreams of black forests and dark meadows for she wishes to return home to the land of the nocturnal, an Eden for the sinful.
