next up is another memory from the 80's, and a preview to a promised project of mine. I decided to make things a little more extravegant this time around, namely the addition of theme music.

get your hankies ready...

 first of my Marvel Adventures: Avengers builds, my goal here was to make spending time as "puny banner" almost as enjoyable as playing the hulk.

 this is why i've taken a fairly modern approach to banner, with skills suited to one of the top minds in comics now forced to live a life on the run. people probably think I made banner a bit too tough, but the way I see it, he should at least have some insurance to survive a fight until he hulks out. in fact, my only real complaint about this build is that I couldn't find a shot of banner facing the camera during this sequence

UPDATE: As the texbook milksop, bruce understandably can no longer throw a punch, and in return gets his IQ ramped up to fit his reputation

I love the old Incredible Hulk show...it used to be on Sci-Fi Channel on Tuesdays, I believe. So cool. Very impressive set-up.

'The Lonely Man' is one of my favorite themes ever. I mean, it just reflects Banner, don't ya think?
Bad guy looks at small pistol by PC. Bad guy makes pistol with fingers.
Bad guy-¿"Bang"?.
PC shakes head gravely.
PC (quiet voice)-"Boom".
PC pulls trigger.
Bad guy gets vaporized.

 Originally, I was going to use a screencap from spidey and his amazing freinds, but this week I discovered one of marvel's best kept secrets, so this build was influenced by that, while still retaining elements of amazing freinds and regular continuity.

 created by Stan Lee, Ravage started as a cyberpunk eco-warrior for marvel's 2099 imprint, but within like 5 issues they revamped the series concept an made him into a mix of mad max and wolverine.

 y'know, if you dropped the dex and swapped those knowledge skills for streetwise and gather info, this would probably make a pretty good sabretooth build

it's from the second issue of "Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane" (that's in fact MJ there in the background), when Firestar cameo'd in the early issues, but officially became part of the supporting cast recently (with her costume changed to very closely mach her 'amazing freinds' look). the book's not officially part of marvel's "Adventures" line, but it's similarly unbound by decades of continuity, since it depicts Pete, MJ and the rest back in high school.

i've never read the book myself, but i've heard nothing but good things about it.
