Background:
Talion is the Prince of Ithacos. He is the son of King Tyresias (BC: Christopher Reeve) and the Sorcoress-Queen Polythena (BC: Jacklyn Smith). He is the older brother of Princess Melanippe (BC: Alexis Bledel).

Personality:
Talion has been raised on the tales of his father’s heroic exploits, and those of the other Great Heroes. He has also been taught how to be a just and compassionate King, when the time comes. Talion is a very honorable young man; sincere in his friendships, loyal to his followers, and determined to live up to the ideals of Right. Talion feels a bit of hero-worship for his father, and adores both his mother and little sister.

Melanippe, and her fiancée Prince Laedes of Corinthia, were turned to stone at their wedding by King Kalos of Scorpos. This event began Prince Talion’s adventuring career.

Costume:
Talion typically wears well-made and well-crafted clothing, but of a rather simple cut for one of his station. As a Prince of Ithacos, he wears a golden circlet. Otherwise he is typically fond of wearing a blue or red tunic, and sandals.

In combat he wears his father’s full Hoplite Armor. Although it is more ornate than his tastes generally prefer, Talion wears it with pride, as it was a gift from his father when Talion passed through the Ritual of Manhood on his 17th birthday. The armor is sculpted with reliefs honoring Athena, the family’s Patron Goddess. He also carries an ornate Medium Metal Shield, and carries a Sword and Spear.
