That's what I get for reading things at 1:00 A.M. after a long day of work. ;) Sorry about that, so you did. I read it as "Improved Critical 4" for some reason.

Great V. I'm really digging the art you used for two-face as well, he also seems far more interesting than some other builds I've seen of him (With just the tommy gun).

Too many of Batman's villains started out gimmicky, but at least it gives them some personality. I did want to drive home those aspects of Two-Face that set him apart from the other crazies in Arkham.

I didn't notice Spawn anywhere in here... I was just looking to see how you dealt with the earlier ideas of the degrading powers. (The first @ 30 issues or so).

I just started playing and I just kind of ran through and looked how you set up some of the DAP's and stuff.

I started working on a Spawn build per a request a week or so back but haven't finished it.

The magical abilities set to the counter would be a Variable Structure with a Fades Flaw.

Feats: Acrobatic Bluff, Animal Empathy, Attack Focus [Melee] 4, Attractive 2, Defensive Roll 2, Distract (Bluff), Dodge Focus 6, Elusive Target, Equipment 4, Evasion, Improved Initiative, Move-By Action, Quick Draw, Sneak Attack, Taunt

Equipment: (20ep, 3ep open)

Cat o’ nine tails (7ep): as Whip plus Super-Movement 1 (Swinging)

Costume (10ep)
Camouflage (Urban), Flash goggles, Night Vision Goggles, Strike 2 (Power Feats: Improved Critical, Mighty), Super-Movement 1 (Climbing), Super-Senses 1 (Infravision)

Combat: Attack +8 / +12 (Melee); Damage +2 (Unarmed or Whip) / +4 (Claws, 19-20 Crit) // +2 (Sneak Attack); Defense +14 (+4 flat-footed); Initiative +9

Saves: Toughness +4 (+2 flat-footed), Fortitude +5, Reflex +11, Will +6

Abilities 40 + Skills 36 (144 ranks) + Feats 28 + Powers 0 + Combat 32 + Saves 12 – Drawbacks 0 = 148

Complications: Responsibility (Helena Kyle, Gotham’s East End), Secret (true identity)

 Like most of Batman’s allies and rogues gallery, Catwoman has a wealth of skills and feats, as befits the world’s greatest cat burglar. Batman literally has his hands full with this woman. She is more agile than the Dark Knight and though she won’t be running circles around him, she does have a slight edge maneuvering and with interaction skills, especially since Batman seldom seems to resist.

 Selina’s not overwhelming in combat, but she’s practically guaranteed the extra +2 damage from Sneak Attack, and she certainly knows her way with her claws and whip. That doesn’t change the fact that she’s not supposed to get embroiled in melee and should be using her skills to avoid confrontation whenever possible.

An update to DC's contender for favorite comic MILF. Catwoman's just too much fun in a low- to mid-level campaign. She's not much of a physical threat, but she's a hellcat, nonetheless.

Complications: Obsession (fame and wealth), Reputation (gloryhound and sell-out), Secret (of 52 and the Multiverse)

 Booster Gold is a pretty capable and athletic normal who uses his knowledge of the future to scam people and his appropriation of future technology to become a superhero. His outfit consists of a Legion Flight Ring and a version of Brainiac 5’s force field belt, among other items.

 Skeets is once-again Booster’s trusty minion and a vast resource of current events and all-around knowledge, although his knowledge of future events appears to be flawed at this point, and Unreliable. His Library feature functions exactly as the Headquarters feature of the same name, allowing him to take 20 on Knowledge checks but requiring an hour for the research (which Skeets’s Quickness drops to less than a minute—six rounds, in fact). Though he possesses no hands, per se, Skeets has functional tools allowing for precise manipulation as needed—to repair Booster’s armor, administer first aid, or to access computers.

Skeets (Minion Rank 8)

Power Level: 8 (120pp)

Abilities: STR: 10 [1] (-5), DEX: 18 (+4), CON: -- (--), INT: 18 (+4), WIS: 10 (+0), CHA: 10 (+5)

Skills: Computers 8 (+12), Craft [Electronic] 8 (+12), Disable Device 8 (+12), Knowledge [Current Events] 8 (+12), Knowledge [Technology] 8 (+12), Medicine 4 (+4), Search 4 (+8)

Feats: Eidetic Memory

Powers:
Blast 10 (Power Feat: Accurate; 21pp)
Datalink 2 (2pp)
AP: Quickness 6 (x100; Flaw: Limited [perusing Library; -2]; 1pp)
Features 2 (Library [as for Headquarters, take 20 on Knowledge checks], Temporal Inertia; 2pp)
Flight 4 (100 MPH; 8pp)
Immunity 30 (all Fortitude effects; 30pp)
Protection 10 (10pp)
Shrinking 12 (Extra: Continuous [+1]; Flaw: Permanent [-1]; Power Feat: Innate; 13pp)
Super-Senses 4 (Precognition; Flaw: Unreliable [-1]; 2pp)

Combat: Attack +0 [+4] / +2 [+6] (Blast); Damage +10 (Unarmed); Defense +0 [+4] (+0 flat-footed); Initiative +4

Saves: Toughness +10 [+7], Fortitude --, Reflex +8, Will +4

Drawbacks: Vulnerable (magnetic attacks; Uncommon, Major; -3pp)

Abilities 6 + Skills 14 (56 ranks) + Feats 1 + Powers 93 + Combat 0 + Saves 8 – Drawbacks 3 = Total 120

:!: Update 2/13/09 :!: Quick brushing up to include this in the Gold/Blue bromance thread. The result is a cleaner and more iconic build.

I looked at your Thor and I think it is great but then I looked at the combat you played out. I was curious what references you used to create Thor. I noticed that you never added the Odinforce. I think the belt should use Boost and then fatigue him afterward like it does in some of the comics.

Odinforce would probably best be shown as a Boost (all traits) X power.

I did like the balance you brought and was curious what Thor you were using. I am not putting the build down, I was just curious if it is an early Thor, the dual Thor or the Thor that beat Those Who Sit Above in Shadow.

I've made updates to Thor since the battle. I generally try to stat out the most recent version of the character if I can. For Thor, I used a combination of the OHOTMU and recent comics.

I've never made an Odinforce Thor...first, because it wasn't the current Thor at the time that I statted him (the then-current Thor was dead) and the now-current Thor doesn't have the Odinforce. If I were to stat out the Odinforce, it would probably be a rank 20+ array. Boost (all traits) wouldn't let Thor acquire traits that he doesn't already possess. The ways that Thor most often uses the Odinforce are limited enough that I can use an array for most of the uses and power stunts for the rest. I don't think it's an X-trait, but it's at least a rank 20 effect by my metrics.

For the belt, Boost doesn't work in this situation, either. Thor gets the extra Strength as long as he wears the belt; it doesn't ebb and flow. That's not Boost; that's Enhanced Strength on a Hard to Lose Device.

Also, I already included the weakness that affects Thor after he removes the belt. It's a Weakness Drawback that causes him to lose Strength.

In general, I find Boost to be less than ideal to describe certain powers and certain those that the characters possess all the time. Personally, I find there are better ways to express powers than Boost most of the time, especially in M&M.
