This is the Great White Whale. It is as large and strong as one might expect, far more intelligent than it ought to be, and controls the ocean waters and the creatures therein. Not that it *does not* have any means built in to gain control of people it kills. How, then, are Ishmael, Queequeg, Ahab, and the crew of the Pequod bound to it?

Not also that unlike it's minions, it is not undead. It is a demon possessed Whale. It is neither immortal, nor immune to aging...so how has it survived so long?

Honey, which is sort of short for Heuristic Operating Nexus 1, is actually the AI from the base computer on Bronze Island. Or…she was. Her remote android body was temporarily disconnected from her long enough to become a distinct entity…still the same basic personality, but not quite the same experiences or reactions. The android, for instance, is much closer to human in her reactions.
Doc Bronze built her, both the computer and the android body, and she loves him completely.

She’s about 5’8”, and weighs about 150 lbs, being constructed of superlight alloys and space age plastics, rubber, and synthetic flesh. Her circuitry and skeletal structure are vulnerable to electrical and magnetic manipulation.

She’s as often found in a tight red dress as a red jumpsuit…even on a mission.

Edit: update like the others.

Were I Honey's GM, I would count these as Complications, not Drawbacks -- they don't really have any mechanical penalty associated with them.

Servitor, she's a robot. I'd say that makes her qualities pretty mechanical, nay?

Happily, *I'm* Honey's Gm. The Drawbacks are drawbacks because:

1) They affect her *all the time*. I'd have to give her ten HP a session to cover them. No sense of humour gets her negative reactions in game. Since I don't roll for NPC reactions except when a skill is used, I didn't bother to specify. But in many cases, it negates the Attractive bonus, and with people who aren't affected by her attraction, it gives her a -4. Plus...she never gets jokes. She thinks people are serious all the time, until specifically told otherwise. in a lot of ways, its like the 1st edition drawback, Naive. her Sense motive takes massive situational hits. That's a lot for one measly point. It's an anti-feat.

2) Azimov's Laws: These are hardwired. it doesn't matter what she wants.
She cannot harm, or allow, by inaction, a human being to come to harm. Her creator actually *broadened* this, making it apply to all sentients. In addition, she must follow the orders of any human that do not conflict with her basic laws or the specific orders of her creator. it's like being subjected to Mind Control *all the time*. Honor complications can be ignored, if the sentient is under enough stress. These can't.

3) Slave mentality: This isn't just following orders. That's covered by the Laws. No, this means she lacks the capacity to make her own decisions on any meaningful level. She instinctively *looks* for direction on everything from her creator, and failing that, his teamates...failing that she'll take direction from the nearest sentient...no matter which side they happen to be on. This can be bloody inconvenient.

Take a look at Modular man from Wild Cards. He has it rough.

That said, you could run it the other way if you want. But I didn't think the robot should get the most hero points. She should be unlikely to exceed her paramters, not constantly blowing past them like Hero points allow.:)

Well, I think I understand how Moby wailed on Ahab's mind in the books through your build.

Jason Norbert is a bright young 13 year old boy, trapped in a wheelchair by paraplegia. He met Doc Bronze at a science symposium in Neopolis, and the good Doctor gave him some tips on advanced cybernetics. Sometimes, the Doctor doesn’t really think through the consequences. About a year later, a new super hero, a shining medieval knight named Valiant, was working in the streets of Neopolis. He seems very idealistic, and a bit unfamiliar with the modern world…but then he would be, as Jason is new to the gig, and uses the armor to work out his fantasies. He has yet to face real opposition…the armor makes him nearly invulnerable to street thugs.

The armor masquerades as his wheelchair, when not in use. When he flicks a switch and gives a coded voice command, it morphs into the Knight in Shining Armor, Valiant.

First of all, if I made in any comments about Moby Dick, I'd get kicked off the Tank. I'm not even going to tempt fate with my gutter mind...

I like the Valiant build a lot. I was working on an Oracle-type character and I think that wheelchair turning into a battlesuit concept. Consider I may have to "homage" that...

David’s Grandfather taught him the ancient secrets of the ninja clan they were descended from. The Clan took exception his teaching a halfbreed, and killed Grandfather. David seeks revenge, and uses his ninja skills to fight crime while he searches for the killer. By day, he teaches martial arts in a downtown Tulsa dojo, to disadvantaged youths. By night, he is…Nightrunner.

His costume is a very simple Kevlar reinforced sleeveless gi top, hakama, and obi, all in black and charcoal gray. A full face mask, not conventional ninja, but more like Spiderman, conceals his features. Black tabi boots aid in stealth and mobility. He disdains the use of weapons, but will occasionally use caltrops to set traps or sow pursuit. He prefers hit and run tactics, the quick takedown
by surprise.

His powers, such as they are, all stem from lifelong training. They make him uniquely well suited to long nights of prowling rooftops at full speed.
