Due to the temporary drop out of a key player in my campaign, I'm putting 'Freedom Inc.' on temporary hold until further notice. We'll just have to wait until later to see how Freedom Inc. escapes the clutches of Crime Unlimited.

I am, however, starting two mini campaigns to replace them... one will be on alternating Tuesdays the other on Alternating Sundays. On Tuesdays we'll have Bedlam! A Gotham style campaign. On Sundays we'll have Force Ops set in the Iron Age (the 80s!) of Freedom City.

So here is a chance to create new characters or rework/retcon an old one. What do you guys think... I'm wanting to meet this Sunday to discuss the Iron Age series. Any Interest?

Hopefully this will work better with hectic schedules as you can choose one or both series to be a part of!

For Freedom!

Hey guys... just to let you know I finally have a place to play for our Tuesday Game! We'll be strarting up a new mini series next Tuesday at 730 to 10 pm.... The campaign focuses on hereos in Asylum, a city in the shadow of Freedom City... A town far past its heyday as an industrial city in the 50's its now a nightmare of shadows and art deco... the only hero that protects the city so far is the Lunatic... Most other heroes head over to the much more glamorous Freedom City.. .For some reason the PCs have decided to stay among the urban decay... The campaign is inspired a lot by Batman the Animated Series, Nightwing, and Batman and the Outsiders... and this miniseries will be tied in with the other mini campaigns I run... so as the players get a chance to to try different characters and settings, they'll see a continuing story unfold in a detailed super hero universe they help shape...

So If you're still interested we'll be meeting at 730 next Tuesday... email me for directions

Interested in new people?

Hi.

Your post sounds like you've already got a decent-sized group. How interested are you in new people?

As I am *very* interested in finding a decent game.

Time for an update...

Well, due to rampant player absenteeism, I have been forced to reboot my campaign. It is is now down to two players.

Which turned out to be the best thing for the campaign. We've been focusing more on tighter character stories and less on wild multi-character brawls. The focus has shifted from Freedom City to nearby Asylum, which was once a heroless town riddled with conspiracy and corruption, but is now becoming a metahuman battle field.

The players heroes are now about to embark on a quest to avenge the death of a semi retired Canadian super hero and recover his robot chimp sidekick. This quest could likely take them all around the globe. And maybe beyond. (This is one of those cases where the players tell you what they want to do and you write an adventure around it.)

We're calling the adventure Monkey Quest. If you're in the NYC area, then by all means, we'd be glad for you to join in. We emphasize fun, as well as strategy, character as well as action. Crunchiness as well as flavor!

Looking forward to hearing from you!
